Man I really feel like I needed to hear this interview at this time it came. The tail end was pretty honest about social media and something I'm trying to distance myself from.... thanks for giving your insight. I'm struggling with trying to find my place at the moment.... Anyways, loved your album and hope to see you live again.

Yes, I felt his words sink in while we were filming this interview. Not every artist gets it so clearly, it was rewarding to head him state things so clearly.

The name change and new music definitely was a great thing for him and of course the fans! I loved being part of that evolution. Keep it up Nick! ❤️

Interesting guy, I’m going to check out his music. I last watched the Amanda Palmer RIML who also talked out the Swans. I’m new to them and in awe of Love of Life.

Love the theory of artists being the sensitive souls of community - Intuition is what you need to make music and at the same gets killed so often in the modern ratio world...

Yeah, he really does! I enjoyed filming this interview because he kept saying things that I agreed with or was inspired by. Nick Murphy is quite a legit artist!

Afro-jazz, man, you hear it twice, and there's nothing, you hear it a third time, it's all there is.

Omg, this interviewer.... 😅Annoying voice, the kind of staring look in his eyes, the lack of interactiveness.... Super weird. And he seems not to have the slightest clue what Nick's on about within the last question. 😄 The questions are interesting though, and Nick's thoughts on whatever topic are always fascinating.

You know I hear this about Charles but I defend him. There's something about the way we shoot these interviews (now) that makes our guests open up. I know it might look unusual compared to typical tv personalities but what Charles and I can get out of our guests in only 15 minutes is really cool. I cite our Gary Numan interview as a prime example. Thanks for watching and commenting. MRH (from behind the camera)
