Problem with using this tech earlier (well one of the reasons) was fear of Machine Lifeforms adaptation and evolution to the point where all this stuff would become ineffective. So they store that as last resort or for full scale "all out" operation

This is the start of the midpoint of the game, and what I personally consider to ben the real start of the game. Everything up on to now has just been build-up, with the exception of the last episode. Those details was never in the game, just simply alluded to. It's told in full in supplementary material. Really curious where the anime will take this event, as it is heartbreaking in the game.

Yeah, you only see her the once in the first act if I recall correctly. It's from here on where she becomes very important.

That's been an ongoing thing 😆 That's why in the episode 13 reaction I mentioned Brian would "constantly try to prove he's played the game"... He is over 40 now 🤣

One thing I noticed about the anime is that its focus is on those who played the games and know the lore, because they stop explaining a lot of things and move on in the anime, I for example understand everything that is happening but those who have never played no nier is easily lost, in my opinion this was a wrong production path

@@aj-mindalex1448 but there are many things from the anime, even though it is something unique, that is not explained to those who don't know the game, for example that androids are only reborn with the same memories if they back up their memories in the bunker. If I started to analyze the anime pretending that I forgot everything I played in the game, I would be very lost in relation to the story. In the end I really like the anime, my criticism is in relation to the anime for those who have no idea what the game is like

@@dovafusroh8419it was Yoko Taro himself that chose this direction because he didn't want it to be the same. It would be boring for those who played the game. He likes to throw people off the loop, just think of this anime as one of many timelines that happened "before" the game. Assuming he didn't interfere with the game's true ending. But if he did, just laughed it out he likes to mess with people. He's the person that got locked in a room to write a story and the guy that stared at a bikini model while sitting in the bathtub.
