I have redesigned the Jie Star model so that it drives through 72 mm radii without any problems. First, the coupling rods on one side of the locomotive are loosened and the wheels are offset by 90°. I completely removed the bevel gears. Next I removed both side panels and attached everything 2 studs upwards. I relined the substructure of the side panel so that the locomotive has 8W, I moved the arch stones above the large driving wheels down by 2 studs and lined everything accordingly. Although the forerunner only floats 2mm above the rail, I have created so much space by widening it that the wheels of the forerunner run very close to the fairing, but are not hindered from turning. I completely rebuilt the tender. First I widened the tender from 6W to 8W and lengthened it about twice as long. Both bogies can now actually be rotated, the longer bogie has the railway motor and the battery box is in the tender. Unfortunately I can't attach any photos, so you could recreate it if you feel like it. Greetings Ron

I like locomotives, but this locomotive is visually not my cup of tea, but thanks for introducing it anyway.
