The music of the 70s was too natural to be ignored. Indeed, God is an Igbo man.

I commend those who put this group of musical icons together. The nostalgia evoked by this gathering transported me from Houston Texas at this moment in time, back to Aba Owerri, Enugu, etc. of those days. I remember emerging from the Civil War and how these gentlemen by share and raw talent, with outdated equipments, churned out beats that cannot not be matched even by today's digital technology. Guys you look very good 👍I sincerely ask that you expand this as a running program in ABS so that we can participate. It will help some of us junior-seniors in our late 50s, 60s, and 70s to rekindle our spirits and be proud of ourselves. May God continue to bless us and keep us alive 🙏

Unending stream of goose pimples running over me as I watch this video. Nostalgic! Exciting! My Elder Borther, Marshall Udo Oru of Founders 15 group, belonged to the stars of this era. Infact, as a little boy leaving in the Foundars 15 base in Portharcourt, I met wih these guys and others from other musical groups of the period. I just love this. Uncle Sam and Anie, you may not remember me now. but cheers to you. Hope to see you again someday.

These men were the best artists ever in the 70s and 80s. Their music still reverberates across the globe. We must celebrate and appreciate their collective contribution to arts and music in Nigeria. Music was the comforting escape of Biafra victims of Nigeria genocidal war against the Igbos. I thank ABS, the presenters and organizers of the forthcoming reunion of the veterans of forgone era whose fan base are yearning for better days again. I just can't wait to be entertained by theses great warriors of Igbo/Nigeria music Revival/Renaissance fusion. The time is now for the erstwhile bands to reassemble and take their proper place in the annuls of music legends in Nigeria. Please share more information about the upcoming convert or party. Can they tour overseas? I'll promote them. More kudos, Igbo Kwenu!

Mr Nwokoye you have driven me crazy already with this idea. I'm taken back ages when men were boys and real music mattered. I can't handle these tears. Why has nature been so cruel not treating us to the good times we were used to? Music was our lives and our happiness; that was wealth. These men here worked tirelessly to afford us that wealth. Today they are hardly remembered. Thank you so much for anchoring the episode and by whatever contribution from your sector this memory is rekindled, all of you deserve more than i can say. I wish i could have a contact information to arrange my contribution to this build. My business organisation would be proud to identify with you.

I'm immensely pleased to be part of this discuss. Memories have taken every part of my being. I vividly visualize in my memory my days @ Madonna High School, Ihitte, in the present Ihitte/Uboma LGA of Imo State. Check out the lyrics in all the tracks of all the group's then. Impeccable Queens English unlike now that palace jesters have taken the centre stage. May the Almighty God continue to bless you all. Long life shall be your potion & for all the departed, May the Lord repose their souls. The Igbo nation is proud of you all at.least, for the soothing balm you administered on us after that debacle called the Nigeria/ Biafra civil war. May God bless Anambra State Government for bringing this up. Very thoughtful indeed.

All these pop groups of the 70s that endowed on us the Igbos, psychological tonic to carry on immediately after the civil war should be appreciated by their respective state governments (Akwa Ibom, the Doves and Action 13 of Calabar inclusive). They needn't be reminded though, I know one or two of them who were confirmed jew men then and probably have not changed. They are busy ferrying our common patrimony across the Atlantic but, it can be for ever. They have refused to develop Igboland. Can I exculpate Peter Obi & winning Willie Obiano?

This series, of bringing back to stardom those musicians of old who made us proud and happy right after Biafra, is noble and worthwhile. Nevertheless, it must never be allowed to trudge into tawdriness that might tar the character of folks of that era. Mr Nwokoye's comment about Semi Colon's Slim Fit Maggi (29:25 & 30:29) is unfortunate and in poor taste. I know that Maggi, who not too long after that song got married to an Army officer from old Anambra state -- he retired a Major-General from the army. The point to this information is that Maggi, who might be watching this video, was not what Nwokoye conveyed through his careless talk. In a later video, Lasbry Ojukwu confirmed that he wrote the song for Maggi who had kept rejecting his wooing of her, but who later became amenable to his overtures after this song was released and at which time he had moved on with the woman he eventually married. At that point Nwokoye should have realized that his prior comment, mentioned above, was false and he should have corrected himself. This series is wonderful and should be continued but efforts must be made to stay away from rumors and innuendos of old, especially since all of the characters are now grandparents whose grandchildren might be watching these videos.

Am not sure if this guy is aware that musicians feel slighted when invited, on an occasion of this nature, but other musicians songs are played exceedingly. There is no reason to be playing the songs of other musicians, who may have the chance to come to this show someday, instead of the songs of the musicians who are already on the show. Sweet Breeze and One World were not one-hit wonders, so the focus should be on them and on their songs. Such an attention will force other musicians to want to come on this show too -- to bring back their music to limelight.
