Night - Poem by William Blake, Music by David Sasso
Youth Chorus, Clarinetist: Daniel Aliment
David Sasso was one of the founding singers of Indianapolis Children’s Choir. After singing in the choir for five years, their conductor
asked David to write a song for them. In 1993, as a senior in highschool, this is what he created - a work of music full of beauty and
depth. David has since gone on to be recognized worldwide for his choral and orchestral compositions.
The sun descending in the west, the evening star does shine; the birds are silent in their nest, and I must seek for mine.
The moon like a flower in heavens high bower, with silent delight sits and smiles on the night.
