I'm currently using The Ordinary Retinal 0.2%, which I really like. I used Paula's Choice products for years, but their prices have gotten ridiculous. There have been so many price increases since the Unilever acquisition, which is a shame as PC was a brand that I trusted.

Glad to have a Nadine post, you've been missed. General q... anyone have issues with retinol especially the Medik8 crystal 20 making pillowcase go weird like marking and making the cotton go stiff (even washing on a 95 doesn't help) - I've stopped using and replaced the cases. Been through a course of PRX-T33 and scared to use retinol again only for the pillowcase reason

Hi Nadine, it's great to see your lovely face back here on KZitem! 👋 I have the Nip + Fab Renew Retinol Fix Eye treatment (2%) but it's very new, and im a bit wary about putting it on my eyes, to be honest! Paula's Choice tends to be where I find my 'can't do without" products - it's $$$ for me but they don't disappoint! I'm on the lookout for a budget friendly ceramide moisturizer (or serum) specifically *budget friendly for Canadians* (our 1$ is only equivalent to ~ 0.72 cents on the American 1$ 😵💫) So, any opinions on The Ordinary ceramide moisturizer? Or any other suggestions from another 'budget friendly' line would be appreciated! Much ♥️ from Canada!🇨🇦

Hi, I thought I'd give you a few ceramide products that I use. I'm I'm in NZ . But my favourite product ever is the Torriden solid in ceramide cream. It's full of ceramides, cholesterol, lipids, all the good ingredients the skin loves, and in the middle of the ingredient list, not just sprinkled in at the bottom.. It's a gorgeous formula. They have an essence to match, that has a serum consistency. Both products are A+. Tocobo has their multi ceramide cream, another very nice formula , and Purito has their dermide ceramide balm and moisturiser line. I also have used the RNW ceramide concentrate serum and cream. But I still think Torriden is the best. It's very hydrating and moisturising. Sinks in without leaving a film or greasy. And it's quite affordable. In NZ dollars it's around $35. These are all k beauty products and can be found on yes style or other places. But I can't recommend the Torriden one enough. My mother uses it too and she said it's one of the only creams that actually sinks in to her very dry skin. She also likes the cosrx balancium ceramide. 😊

I have a friend who uses the Murad acne cleanser. I think it's a face wash? But she swears by it for her back breakouts and has no breakouts when using it. She uses it with one of those back straps. They might have a body version but I'm sure she said it was a face product that she uses on her body.

Hi nadine. Please could you review Dr vanitta rattan range of products. She's been on my radar for a few years however I haven't seen any of the big skincare bloggers talk about it so remain aprahensive. She's got really interesting formulas, claiming to have an invisible mineral sunscreen and also has hyperpigmentation kits alongside quite a few interesting well rounded antiaging serums. If you could check out the antioxidant daily serum as that is what has peaked my interest the most. Thanks nadine x

Glad you back I love your video and advice. Love this video but can I ask what you’d recommend for a body moisturiser and exfoliator as I’m menopausal 49 yrs old and I feel like Egyptian mummy so dry but very sensitive skin so can’t do thick and gloopy. A video would be fab for us menopausal sufferers lol😂

On the Paula's Choice website, they say "0.1% retinaldehyde (retinal) and 0.16% Adapinoid (oleyl adapalenate)."

So glad you are back on KZitem. Been loving your Instagram reels and appearances on This Morning though. So if the EU are now regulating Retinol, does this mean the UK don't have to and could this be the first benefit of Brexit? 😂 I bought a Tranexamic acid as it as it says it reduces dark spots and improves uneven skin tone, is it any good? Not heard of it before......

So many people now with Retinol/retinal on the market. I'm 40 and suffer with hormonal breakouts. I need an acid but don't know what to go for. I used Klira for 1yr and i just looked like i had a red beard/tash the whole time 😂. Any advice would be greatly appreciated x

Hi Nadine…this is a longshot but wondering if you could point me in the direction of a good routine/product. I’m 49 with fine lines, bumpy, dull skin with a little bit of sun damage. I double cleanse & moisturise. I tried Dermatica retinol but was too much. Looking for some inspiration …. 🎉
