Correction: - Myrmourns always came in units of four (I, Ryan remembered it incorrectly). That said, the point about them dropping to less than 3 still stands. - Dreadblade Harrows do in fact come in boxes with two models, despite being Heroes (Jonas was right).

As soon as the preview dropped I picked up the last box of Dreadblade Harrows at my FLGS haha

olynder doesnt look terrible, and of course whether she's good in game will depend on points, but that warscroll doesn't scream 'mortarch' to me.

That's also the feeling I got. Maybe that's why I had the 'meh' feeling when I first saw her scroll, though I also agree with Ryan that the scroll itself is fine. I imagine the other mortarchs will also take a substantial hit.

dreadblades always came two per box. changing them to be a unit instead of a hero might only indicate that they're trying to stick closer to unit size = box size, not that they're going to turn minor heroes into units more generally.

Definitely also a good explanation for that, but how cool would it be for some minor heroes to become easier to bring? With how list building is looking, I can really see a reason for that train of thought as well.

myrnmourn were always unit size 4. might be worth opening wahapedia when doing these reviews to be able to direct compare the current rules. also, my reading is the 4e myrnmourns can only unbind one triggering spell per turn. ability lets them unbind 'as if they had wizard (1)'. a unit that has wizard (1) can only attempt to unbind once per turn.

Agreed with your interpretation. I think Ryan did mention they come per four? He's doing really thorough work on these previews, so if we made a mistake about the unit size, it was definitely an accident. 👍

Thank you, Jonas. Definitely said they came in twos because I was only looking at their warscroll in the book and went off (bad) memory for their unit size instead of looking at the pitched battle profiles at the back of the book. Malisteen: I appreciate the viewership and comments, but please be gentle. As I literally said in this video, we’re going to get something wrong every single time we talk when covering this much material, even though I literally own every Battletome, do side by side comparisons of every warscroll (albeit sometimes too fast, admittedly), and play around 140 games a year. It’s just a lot to keep in your head when improvising in a chat, you know?
