I rarely share personal stories on the public forum of KZitem, but in this case I feel it is appropriate. It took me an hour to get through the story of Alem Hadzic. I myself had a slightly similar experience in January 2014. Right before I went to bed Sunday night, I received an unexpected phone call that my mom had died unexpectedly in her place. Despite the shock, I felt the need to go to work because if I didn't, the store I worked at would not have been able to operate efficiently the next day; I was the opener. Despite one of the WORST TRAGEDIES OF HIS LIFE, Alem was able to deliver one of the THEE most defining speeches of one of THEE most defining moments of his young life. Alem, if you are reading this, you are STRONGER than you know. As I live for my mom and the many others who have died throughout the 11 years I have been in Los Angeles, live for your dad. I KNOW he is proud of you. :)😀

@@annamorgan9069 ..indeed four large tax breaks over hte last 42 years that for the most part benefited the wealthy and corporate sector. Less income means less that can is available to spend. The corporate tax rate (before loopholes and deductions) is about one third of what it was before the Reagan era. None of that wealth that went to the top ever "trickled down" as was promised. Before then, the wealthy (who also paid a much higher tax rate) were still rich beyond the dreams of the average American while corporations still made profits just not as obscene as today. Stock buybacks were also illegal as they were considered a form of stock manipulation, today they're he norm. All that money which went to the top stayed there to the point we are looking at a new "gilded age", one that far more inequitable than the previous of over a century ago Talk about a scam.

Alan's grad speech > that NFL kicker's speech
@dianebannister4591
28 күн бұрын
I thought the Chief's kicker's college graduation speech was so offensive. And he used the occasion to spout off his political and personal beliefs. Totally inappropriate for the joyous occasion. There was a lot of blowback which he deserved. I just read an article this week whereby the nuns who were associated with that college spoke out and expressed how offensive Harrison's speech was. He stated that the highest calling was to be a "housewife" and mother and that should be women's main pursuit. Oh yeah, that's why the female graduates worked so hard to get an education so that immediately after graduation, they could be looking for a husband so they could be a stay at home housewife. Forget about any career and just getting established in life. The NUNS publicly criticized his speech. What an insult it was to the nuns who don't get married, but give their lives in service to God. They won't become housewives and mothers. I had a cousin who was a nun and she was very happy in her vocation. I think she worked in a nursing home.

Climate change a huge contributor. These disaster prone areas across America are where modern buildings go in over many decades at high rates. The natural plant and tree life and even wildlife being pushed to survive in limited space. The trees and shrubbery that act as natural barriers have been pulled out without thought and in the names of others huge profits. Businesses also. Hope not another wave or level of homelessness in America. Pretty much manmade and the weather phenomenon reacting to it. Am told the Native Americans knew their seasons and moved to safer ground where they could survive and thrive if needed. No worries about rent leases or land deeds.

Alem Hadzic….first of all “CONGRATULATIONS🎉🎉” on 👨🎓 graduating! Thank-You for your INCREDIBLE BRAVERY in delivering a soulful speech and INSPIRING speech. I have two grown young men who graduated years ago and your story has resonated within the very depths of my soul. I have two autoimmune diseases and take chemo every week. With this being said…you have given me NEW INSPIRATION and STRENGTH to keep fighting. I cannot give you ENOUGH “MAHALO’S”(Thank-You in Hawaiian) for your speech. Your dad is a “PHENOMENAL MAN” you know how I know this? I know this because he RAISED an AMAZING young man as yourself! KEEP working hard and carry your precious father with you on all your NEW JOURNEYS in this BEAUTIFUL life!🤙🏼🌺

I don't get scam emails, my adblock works. I don't click on any email I don't know who it's from. Especially when I click on to "find all emails from this sender" and that's the only one? SPAM, and never click on "unsubscribe" if you never did. it's a way to take you to their website and click.

Yes. Good advice. Not only that, but if you try to unsub from Conservative emails you never subscribed to, you will end up with more. But your adblock blocks emails? Didn't know that.

Buildings made with cement and steel rod laced pillar construction deep into foundations too.. can resist these tornados far better than wood and nail housng that most build in these prone states.. Underground housing also has been nature's way to survive terrible storms.

If those cops would do that to kids on a school campus, imagine their wives.
Thats old school right there. Not far from me is a farm house prefabbed and built from a Sears catalog.

God bless that young man and his future endeavors. I can relate to him 100%. I was on stage with my band the afternoon of the morning my dad passed away. It's what he wouldve wanted.

These people protesting the wrong stuff. Just because u can protest doesnt mean you should. I bet these people dont even give a care for palestine people if they were its neighbor, and yet they protest. They just protesting just to make their lives more eventful. A bunch of idiots.

The thing about buying is if you can afford to buy cash. Just closed may 7. However my insurance is over 2 thousand dollars a year. 😢. And there is a roof assessment over 9 thousand dollars. The seller paid some but not all. Yes I live in Florida but my homeowners dues includes cable. Happy 😊. Happy. Own the condo outright. All furnished too. Even comes with silverware and plates bowls mugs glassware and towels.

US politicians are falling apart because a younger generation of Americans don’t watch heavily-bias media, won’t blindly support Israel, actually listen to what historians & experts say on the issue, and believe that Palestinians are also human beings. That’s their real problem. GROW UP!
