I try my best to "stress test" my tray, then I try to salvage the legs and the handle to sell to someone else, in case they ever have this same tray and want replacement parts. A silversmith could use these parts to repair a tray in the future.
However, unbeknownst to me, the post office would later ask me to bring my tray back to a physical post office and do a "review" of my claim, so I had to re-wrap it up and send the tray back to them without the feet. They will also confiscate my tray if they approve my claim, so I can't scrap the body for silver. So lame. And I have a feeling I'm going to get the claim denied. This could be an entire video onto itself. Pt 3 of this fiasco coming up?
