If there was a championship belting high, higher and beyond highest, Floor has the gold medal i think and Marko is MARKO. I really mis him in this great band. It's almost Christmas. Floor does a Christmas song in Finnish when she was 6 months pregnant with the band Raskasta Joulua (means heavy Christmas) and is called Oi Jouluyö (O Holy Night) Link: kzitem.info/news/bejne/xG18qGWYhamlq2U

Yes I absolutely love Floor and how comfortable She is on stage for me that's the key to her success here however Marco is special I can never wait to hear his next lines or song and it touches me so much when he sings anything which is amazing cuz I'm a dude. However he can bring tears to my eyes one moment and anger in my heart the next a guy is amazing it should be celebrated for his 40 years of his selflessness in contributions to this business called music. Check out tarot his first band. It's definitely '80s metal band s*** but he is so f****** good

It just reminds me every day what an amazing woman I am!!! Helps in the confidence department. Marco is amazeballs, I am soooooo sad he left Nightwish. yes your right, they don't present themselves as arrogant and egotistical but the laughing, joy, and love of what they're doing seems to invite and want you involved with their joy. A good example for you to feel that way that you can watch now seeing as you've already reacted to it at "Wacken" is to watch their Buenos Aires performance of "I Want My Tears Back", they get so much expression and feeling from their audience that they can't help but have a spontaneous reaction and you can feel it with Floor dancing all over the stage. I really love this song...it was the second song that I heard by Nightwish....and without any doubt...my favorite! I get a euphoric high for hours after listening to this song! It's hard to explain, because I live with chronic pain from injuries to my lower back and legs that keeps me in bad, and Nightwish helps me keep a great outlook on life. As an artist...Nightwish has inspired at least 10 new paintings that will be a homage to each particular song! I see the image in my head and sketch out the painting so I won't forget the image. My current one is a homage to "Endless Forms Most Beautiful!" By the way....you should do a reaction video to this song. Most of the time I recommend the live version...but the music and lyrics official video is absolutely fantastic! kzitem.info/news/bejne/t4uYl6Run59odJw

Floor said this song was the most difficult to do. It was written I believe, with Tarja to sing in her operatic head voice, and of course Floor said, hold my beer, and decided she would do it belting. Most pop singers could reach up there easily but very few can stay up there for so long and with such consistent control and clarity. Floors bright ringy belt is so beautiful, but still rich and chesty. She's just astonishing.

Disliking can encourage others to dislike as well. I've seen this many times on Nightwish reactions. Great reaction, thank you! Your enthusiasm is contagious! Talking about holidays. I hope you concider reacting to a 'Xmassy' song, (yuletide mentioned in the lyrics): TUOMAS HOLOPAINEN - "A LIFETIME OF ADVENTURE" from his only solo album (2014) "Music Inspired By THE LIFE AND TIMES OF SCROOGE MCDUCK" a book by Don Rosa, the storyteller and illustrator. He is in the video, drawing. Vocals by Mrs Holopainen, Johanna Kurkela. Her delicate voice is perfect for this beautiful song. Different from Nightwish songs but as good. Tuomas knows how write beautiful melodies. The album was recorded in London with an orchestra, 15 years after Tuomas got the idea for the album. There are a couple of short videos, interviews with Tuomas and Don Rosa, about how Tuomas approached Don Rosa when he was promoting his books in Finland. Tuomas introduced himself, told about his idea for the album. In the beginning Don Rosa was very sceptical, he knew nothing about Tuomas.

He is a badass with a smile to kill! Not a goof! Just a music lover. Marko is the cherry on top of this song. Floor has stated that this is her most difficult song to sing. Due to the prolonged time spent belting in this high and powerful style. It went double time and modulated up 3 half steps From G minor to B♭ minor. This is a traditional song for Nightwish. Composed for a single release from Century Child 2002. Loved it as usual JVB! Your the bomb! Always ending with kind words and warm wishes for all! Right back at you wonderful lady! 💖💖🙏🙏💎💎🤘🤘☝☝

For all Floor Jansen fans: Singer Floor Jansen confesses to Flair: 'I thought metal was terrible music' Floor Jansen (39) tours the world as lead singer of the metal band Nightwish and recharges in her house in the woods in Sweden. When she participated last year with 'Beste Zangers', the Netherlands finally got to know her. "Somehow I like that, stupid huh?" She initially did not know the program with which she broke through in the Netherlands, nor did the other artists who participated. She has been living with her Swedish husband Hannes - with whom she had daughter Freja in 2017 - in Sweden for five years and doesn't watch Dutch television. Why did she participate? She was impressed by the footage she saw. Besides, there was a good chance that through her this would make people curious about metal in general and Nightwish in particular. In the last episode she sang Phantom of the opera together with Henk Poort in an unparalleled way, the footage went all over the world. And now the whole of the Netherlands knows who Floor Jansen is. She is relaxed at one of the tables in the lounge. Denim jacket, jeans, long dark hair. Around her, people are busy making calls or working on their laptops. In between, Floor is in a calm state of being. She drinks tea, speaks softly, almost shyly. She talks about how nice Sweden is. About their remote home in the woods. It is a bit like Limburg where she spent part of her childhood. Had Limburg not been an option? “Hannes and I lived in Finland when we met. I had moved there because Nightwish is a Finnish band. Although I sing in English, I wanted to learn the language and it works best when you immerse yourself in it. Finnish is very difficult, I never learned to speak it well. Of course it doesn't help if you have a Swedish man. Hannes missed Sweden and because I was already used to the peace and space in Finland, we moved there. We now have a very nice house in the countryside. With a dog and cats, and my two horses. When we moved into this house, with a huge plot of land around it, I immediately said I wanted horses. That was my girlhood dream.” You were bullied as a child, you call that a dark period, was being with the horses a way to escape for a while? “Because we moved often, I was always an outsider. I spoke differently than the children in my class, looked different, was tall. That bullying lasted seven years. My parents often went to school, but there they calmly said that there was nothing they could do. I can still get angry about that, because you actually say: 'Bad luck for you, just figure it out'. I withdrew to my own world, to nature, to the horses. So yes, in a way that was a flight.” “So was music, by the way. At one point those were the two things I went for. My career choice test also showed equestrian sport and conservatory. I really wanted to go to the conservatory, until I understood that the vocal training was either very classical or jazz. I had nothing to do with either of them. That is why I went to the Equestrian Center Deurne, a horse training course. That was very hard. I ended up there from high school and had to work hard every day. Some muscles in my body had become so hard that the blood flow in my arms was no longer functioning properly. I had a failure in my hands, so bad that I could hardly drive because I let the reins slip out of my hands all the time. It just wasn't fun anymore. When I heard that there was going to be a rock academy, I immediately registered.” Were your parents surprised that you started doing this? "I don't think so. I was also involved in musicals at school, so it didn't come out of the blue. I think they have kept their heart, because of course it is very insecure. But they have always been behind me. They said: 'You have a talent, you have to do something with it.' My father plays the guitar and sings. He's more in the blues corner. My sister Irene also sang in a metal band for a while and we also performed together. But I'm the only one in our family who made it her job." Were you immediately into metal? “I didn't really like it at all. A friend of mine was listening to it and I thought, what kind of horrible music is that? I was a little late developing my own taste. In the first school band I sang in, we played pop and rock songs. I also really liked grunge, but more to listen to. It wasn't until I moved to Limburg and made friends who listened to different metal bands that I saw the beauty of it. It's not just loud screaming and screeching guitars. The music we make with Nightwish has so many nuances, it's pop, folk, rock, symphonic passages, it's very accessible and melodic. For me, this kind of metal music is the ultimate combination of heavy music, pure feelings and female vocals.” Metal music is a man's world, do you thrive on that? “I don't really know any better. I stepped into this life from school. I actually don't realize that I work almost exclusively with men. It works well for me, I like it too. Men are very direct, there is no hassle. I never think: what is your hidden agenda? I do notice, now that I'm getting older, that I miss female company. Just because women look at things differently and that's sometimes a relief when you're only surrounded by men. That's why it was nice that at the time my female friend went along on tour as a nanny. I had very different conversations with her. She also saw when I was not feeling well and immediately asked how I was doing. Men don't ask that quickly, or don't even notice." By joining 'Best Singers' you hoped that more people would listen to your music. Did that work? "Yes. Our concerts in the Netherlands were immediately sold out. The nice thing is that it went both ways. A lot of people who listen to my music have also embraced Henk Poort. What I'm especially happy about is that I was able to show that metal isn't just satanic music, sung by screaming angry men." Do you also think: finally known in the Netherlands? “Haha. Somehow I like that, stupid huh? It bothered me that we are known all over the world and barely got a foothold in the Netherlands.” Translated from an article in the Dutch magazine 'Flair' from May, 20, 2020 (Zangeres Floor Jansen biecht op aan Flair: ‘Ik vond metal vreselijke muziek’)

Gabriel performs a service to introduce new people to NW. BUT, this makes every reactor run through the same list..It's rather irritating to see all the copy cats using NW to build their channel. Introductions...fine. But to know WHO NW are ... their purpose that even Tuomas discovers... you need react to Edema Ruh, which is Tuomas' reveal that he sees NW as here to shepherd us into this great transitional time...humanity is evolving. Edema Ruh return time and time again to make humanity see the transitoriousness of our current form of Who we are. Then... we need look to those who brought us into existence. So FEW react to the gentle Our Decades In The Sun... Father, Mother. It's so raw in finding our Child self again. yeah yeah head bang and maybe get philosophical about Endless Forms, and We Were Here moment of evolution... but kids... you were once a lonely scared sperm and a frightened egg about to be hit by a comet... don't you know you are Nothing ...that became Something? And soon you'll be gone, like Auri " All I wanted was...to GO...." Travel on, Star Child...this world is ending...the Dream is over. We rebirth Anu." And HOW MANY have ever commented that Human || Nature's very Logo shows us our God Star from Whom we came, Anu? No fucking one is awake far as I can see. Buy...forgive me... that YOU love NW, Marco, etc., and wonder HOW it touches us so... I share with you. We are ALL THAT, which they show us so well. Beautiful, beloved.....WE WERE HERE.

11:57 when that part hits i always think: "Yaaasss!! You go girl!! Queen of the hight notes!" I mean, Marko is great, but to keep it up and up and up that long, ufff... Much respect to that lady, like you said, her talent is insane

She does a beautiful more stripped down version in her solo shows. There are some fan made video's on YT from her tour this summer. Can't wait for the DVD release of the final show that she funded through her fans. Also should checkout Taja's version from End of an Era. Different style but equally powerful and just as gorgeous. Obviously I love both versions.

Yeah, she doesn't do Marko's parts in her solo performances, but does so in the newer Nightwish performances. I think I like it better without the Marko parts, as they seem kind of forced when she fits them in between her traditional parts.

Donot forget all the Wacken songs were written for the previous singers and she was just a guest singer. This concert cemented her place in the band and you can see how she floorgasmed the whole band Tuomas asked her and Troy to be full members

Tested Floor back then in 2013 in Wacken Open Air , replacing Anette Olzon , challenged every momment by Tuomas with badass songs ... I think Ever Dream is a very challenging one ... Passed . Damned vocal range , passion , and stage appearence... Dutch steel Queen walking ! Lots of Floorgasms and Marcogasms !
