Thanks. I've actually been offered a few gigs to provide voice-overs. When I'm on the phone with people for the first time, they tend to say - "Are you a DJ on the radio?" :)

Thanks for the comment, In 1601, Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate, ordered all the feudal lords in western Japan to contribute to the construction of Nijō Castle (during his time), which was completed during the reign of Tokugawa Iemitsu in 1626. You're misunderstanding history. It was finished by Iemitsu. In fact, while the castle was being built, a portion of land from the partially abandoned Shinsenen Garden (originally part of the imperial palace and located south) was absorbed, and its abundant water was used in the castle gardens and ponds. Iemitsu completed the castle's palace buildings 23 years later. Thanks again for the comment but have the timeline inaccurate.

Hold up Your telling me Tokugawa was more powerful than Oda Nobunaga I love Tokugawa but I thought Nobunaga was more powerful when he ruled Japan

Nobunaga did not rule all of Japan, he was killed by his subordinates. Tokugawa was able to rule all off Japan after Hideyoshi death

Nobunaga was the guy who started the whole thing, of course Ieyasu was the one who finished the job so he's probably the one more famous. But I'm sure many people do know of Nobugana who thanks to him started the first push to end that long Japanese civil war.

Oda Nobunaga was the most ruthless of all Japanese rulers. Ieyasu was also remarkably ruthless...but level-headed.

Oda Nobunaga was ruling Central Japan. He was a fool, just as his childhood nickname suggests. Akechi did the right thing and ended his miserable life. Toyotomi Hideyoshi had a much bigger command over Japan, as the Taiko, but wasn't master of all Japan. Ieyasu did not bow to him. Hence, the Battles of Komaki and Nagakute happened, and Ieyasu was able to defend himself against the much bigger force of the Taiko. The only real master of Japan was Ieyasu. The other two positions are parts of the evolution, the supreme title is that of the Shogun.

@@sahipkran9447 Sahipkıran, first of all - thank you for commenting on my video. I truly appreciate it. Secondly, I'd like to know why you consider Nobunaga a 'fool.' I'm curious to your opinion. thanks again for the comment, Sahipkıran!
