Nikita done exactly what he said he was going to do and done it well, He used the basics he went back to his amateur days he employed that style and ditched the stupidity of looking for the KO and leaving himself open to so many shots he landed cleanly and he avoided a lot of shots and made Darkon quit and that was extremely satisfying to see. Now it's Tim's turn to employ the smarter tactics, When he does that his opponents best be careful because he's a weapon and in my opinion they both are when they box smart. Great win Nikita keep it up!

There's a balance between getting hit and hitting your opponent, the Tszyu brothers wager they can do more damage than their opponent in an exchange. In other words it's worth wearing a few to stay close and pressure their opponent. I thought Tszyu actually moved very, very well, his opponent had pretty fast hands.

@@Soul-Taker Agreed. If Tszyu is overly defensive, there's nothing to keep his opponent off of him & he'll end up getting overwhelmed - even Mayweather had a good offense to keep his opponent back so they couldn't walk through him. Tszyu is an offensive boxer who gets his head off the line & sidesteps most of his opponent's counterpunches - so he seems to understand you need a balance between offense & defense, as you've already said. & they're keeping him active - having him fight every other month.

I think the Horn fight made his approach to this fight different at times he got into a brawler mentality with Horn and it almost cost him, maybe not the fight but he could have hit the canvas . It got ugly at times but Nikita came through and in this fight he seems to have went back to being more defensively sound . Looking forward to his future in the sport of boxing , God knows it's in his blood!!!! 🥊🖤🥊

@John Grey It’s not a matter of taking the bait. His clearly not experienced enough to hang with the top guys yet. His defence needs to improve a lot.
