Directions (at your own risk), it takes around 5 minutes and try and be careful not to push too hard.
1) With some force (but don't yank it out) prize the stopper/knob out of the whole to remove the original cover if it is still in place.
2) Take the new part and cut the stalk just above the larger knob/stopper as in the video or like your original port cover.
3) Move the camera to a position where you are comfortable to use both hands freely, ideally work with a head torch which will give you the best lighting.
4) Use a small 'prodding' device, such as a small screwdriver to help guide the knob/stopper through the hole.
Using fine tweezers (such as clock makers tweezers) may help to squeeze the stopper into the camera instead of using a screwdriver.
It may help to line the cover into position, then when you feel it is better in the hole, gently lift the flap and prod the last bits into the hole.
5) Finished.
