My ISO is stuck on 100 - how do I change it? When I select SEL it just does zoom, f stop or strength. It's sooooo frustrating!

Can it be safely used on Digital Nikons? I'm interested to use it with my D7000 but am a little afraid of shot cuts or toasting something.

Mohamed LMISSAOUI No TTL on modern cameras, but I do believe on some of the film cameras of that era. Hope that helps!

Don't I need some kind of converter to use this with my D80 or D7100 without frying the camera electronics?

You should. I talked to Fix Old Cameras and the flash could damage your digital camera. I'd get a PC connector and maybe a hot shoe adapter. Like this.. www.ebay.com/itm/281352366932

No need for any type of converter, Nikon DSLRs are rated at 250 volt trigger voltage, the SB-24 has a trigger voltage of 5 volts and can be used safely on any Nikon DSLR.

Bass Boost Zone I've answered this before. Kinda, theoretically you can put it on the hot shoe but it's probably safer and better to use a release cable on it. Not directly. It doesn't have an optical sensor so you have to buy one for it. I use mine with a wireless trigger connected via PC port. Hope that helps.

This will only work in Manual ans Auto mode on DSLR's. No TTL. TTL won't even work on the old D2h or D2x.

support.nikonusa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/886/~/d-slr-and-nikon-speedlight-compatibility am I right or wrong but I looked it up most say it is not ttl for digital and you need a hot show for digital but when you go on NIKONS official website itself and scroll to the model number it all depends on the make and model for digital before buying I contacted a nikon rep who said it is safe for digital even without a hotshoe .....anyways guys go check out nikons documentation ( scroll near the bottom for this flash info and tell me what you think) Im just guessing the nikon guy might be right and you do not need a hot shoe
