Hello Frederik, I'd recommend: 1). Use '2 sec timer' to release bracketing set.. 2). Use 'exposure delay' between shots, no camera shake. 3). Turn off any stabilisation, if NOT hand-held Besides all the very informative techniques you've provided here. Well done 👏

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. I'm a beginner photographer and could have figured this out on my own, but as we all know, it's so much easier to be able to watch someone walk you through something. Thank god for KZitem University haha

Thank you! Ugh, finally, an answer to end my frustration. I was about to chuck the camera out the window! I didn’t think to find and set multiple exposure mode to make the bracketing work. You’re awesome, thanks again!

How do you feel in general about Z50 now, compared to DX mode on the Z6ii?
@frederikboving

Hi Snoogly, I don't shoot in DX mode on the Z6ii unfortunately. I switched from the Fuji XT3 to the Z50 due to ergonomics - I can only say that I am happy I made the switch. The Z50 is all plastic and feels a bit flimsy, but it is a great little camera and does excellent video.

Great info.Thank you for including the Light Room steps as well. Question, Which program mode should we use exposure bracketing. Thanks again.
@frederikboving
Жыл бұрын
Thank you Joel - the answer is that you can shoot in any mode, but what you choose governs how the camera varies the exposure. The manual says that "The camera modifies exposure by varying shutter speed and aperture (mode P), aperture (mode S), or shutter speed (modes A and M). If On is selected for ISO sensitivity settings > Auto ISO sensitivity control in modes P, S, and A, the camera will automatically vary ISO sensitivity for optimum exposure when the limits of the camera exposure system are exceeded; in mode M, the camera will first use auto ISO sensitivity control to bring exposure as close as possible to the optimum and then bracket this exposure by varying shutter speed." - Hope this helps!

Thank you Jörg, I get that question a lot on this channel! Nikon should give a big warning when you leave the bracketing configuration menu and say "REMEMBER to go to the release mode menu and choose something CONTINUOUS!!" 🙂

@@frederikboving Or they could switch the release mode automatically in case bracketing is turned on. How easy would that be?

@@joerg_koeln Yes, that is a good way to help the photographer better than the current user interface.

Imagine if you had coverage of the usefulness of all three modes ... This video would then be that much more useful, and more complete. Finally a comparison to using hdr would also expand usefulness not just regary on camera vs off camera stitching but also useful for those who only use sooc photos.

Indeed. And I could have expanded on how to save the whales and the cost of living crisis. I think the title and thumbnail rather precisely gives the specific scope.
