READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE COMMENTING
I received the email notification late last night, and I just woke up to find out that Nintendo blocked one of my walkthrough videos from being viewed worldwide for copyright.
I get copyright claims from music publishers all the time; however, this is the first time Nintendo actually blocks one of my videos from being viewed in addition to claiming copyright. Ironically, the video they censored isn't even the original The Legend of Zelda; rather, it's a hack of the original The Legend of Zelda made by three different authors (myself included). I am at a loss right now and I don't know what to do. Should I try to dispute the copyright claim, or should I let Nintendo get their way, which means taking down the affected video and recording a new one? I unfortunately don't have the original AVI file for the video I posted almost two years ago.
UPDATE: I unfortunately took down the affected video shown here, as well as the 2nd Quest video for the same game, which ironically had no copyright claims. There will not be any new walkthroughs for this game posted anytime soon.
