0:28- Can we replace the term "gamer" with "game wizard"? I think that's much more appropriate. 0:37- Yes, back in the 90s, Nintendo was so popular, their hotline required an entire city. 1:09- He was briefly unemployed, but people hated the thought of Mario not working on their toilet, so he had to get back to Butt Crack City. 1:12- I guess that's one way to sum up Donkey Kong. 1:17- "Miyo-Moto"? Has Shigeru Miyamoto ever met that guy? 1:25- "Mary-O"? Uh-oh, the pronunciation police are gonna have a field day on this one. Also, the clips are game behind here, because Narrator Boy is talking about Mario Bros., not Super Mario Bros. 1:31- You know, I understand that you might get a little confused with Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros., but you think they might realize that Super Mario Bros. 2 is not Super Mario Bros. 1. But I mean they just work at Nintendo, so why should they know the Mario games. 1:36- Watch your back, Mario. Mickey's gunning for you. 1:52- So, they used footage of the frog suit from Super Mario Bros. 3 to talk about Mario swimming like a fish in Super Mario World. I don't understand anything anymore. 2:08- "We aren't actually gonna show you any footage of that movie, because we're just so proud of it. So instead, enjoy this footage of the Super Mario All-Stars commercial." 2:14- Pretty crazy how there's never been a Mario game since Super Mario All-Stars. 2:23- Oh man, I guess Super Mario All-Stars really was like Transformers: Generation 2. 2:25- Was Craig Charles playing the promo video with his Super Nintendo controller? The hell sense does that make? 2:36- 🤨...Is he alright? 2:43- Craig Charles is at least bringing some ridiculous energy to this thing to help counterbalance Narrator Boy's dead inside game descriptions. 2:55- (As Narrator Boy) I truly cannot believe how mind-blowing The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is. I'm about to loose control, and I think I like it. 3:09- Did they not have chosen some game sound that didn't include the "almost dead" alert the whole time? 3:20- Seriously, they're on one heard for the majority of the Zelda segment. And what kind of advise was that to jump in the water if you suck? You can still die in the water. 3:28- Yes, let's discover the hidden realm of Hyrule...the world you start the game in. 3:52- He says over Koopa Beach, an area that was created for Super Mario Kart? 4:03- (As Narrator Boy) I would show you that, but no one wanted to play the game with me, because I kept telling them great facts, like Mario from Mario Kart was the same Mario that appeared in Super Mario Bros. 4:12- Ah, right. Star Fox was Starwing in the UK, because apparently Nintendo was worried about some German company called StarVox possibly getting upset. 4:28- (As Narrator Boy) But there is room for 2% improvement. Hard to believe that 3D graphics can get any better though. 4:45- (As Narrator Boy) Hmm, yes. Trade roll. Trade roll. 5:20- You said you were beaming down. Why would you hate when that happens? 5:36- (As hotliner) I am an internet robot who has been programed to play games. 5:46- (As hotliner) Yes, Heaven. That is where I feel like I am. You can tell by my overwhelming joy. 6:00 (As Craig Charles) I have no idea what any of that meant, not was I listening! Marvelous! 6:19- (As hotliner) I'm up for parole in just one more year. 6:23- (As hotliner) That's why I was required to put up a poster of it. Yep. 6:39- You do years of training, and then the games, and console you trained on, are obsolete by the time you get to the hotlines, and your enthusiasm dies. 6:57- Wow. If HE worked at the hotline, someone could ask HIM if THEY could work at the hotline. Amazing. 7:31- Wow, this game makes this guy have the literal blues. 7:39- Wow. Forever? Really? I feel like I should still be playing Aladdin for Super Nintendo then. 7:53- Get the feeling they might have been trying to over compensate for the dry descriptions with nonsense visuals? 8:15- (As hotliner) I had a dream once that this boring racing game actually excited me. Luckily, I woke up, and realized I still worked at the dreary hotline, and that all my years of training had killed all joy in my life. 8:21- If you ever think that talking about the real-life weather is too mundane, try talking about a racing game's weather, but add some nonsense filters over you, and it's okay. 8:31- (As hotliner) I give the graphics 2%...milk. That's a little joke going around the hotline. It would kill if any of us could even muster a slight giggle anymore. 8:41- You don't. 9:03- (As hotliner) Staying awake may sound easy, but it's not. So, enjoy nonsense effects put in our dry reviews. 9:15- It's an annoying game, but it's on Super Nintendo. So buy it. 9:36- 🎶Bubsy, he can really move. Bubsy, he's got a ne...🎶😴 9:39- Did he?! 😠DID HE?!😠 9:58- Oh man, he's got my favorite game: Blank Cart. 10:03- (As developers) We just died inside trying to have 10% energy there. 10:20- No. 11:12- "Shall we do...another take?" "Nooooo." 12:02- Graphics had to be drawn. The wonders will never cease. 12:52- (As developer) The game was a fake pile of trash until we slapped a Canon logo onto the side of a car. 13:05- "Get out of my workspace now!" 14:19- I feel like we're searching for excitement in all the wrong places. 14:37- You get a Game Genie. Nintendo loves the Game Genie. I mean when they aren't trying to block it from ever getting released. 14:45- Oh man, We're gonna learn out to cheat in the main game you're promoting? You cheeky bastards. 15:23- The koopa shell 1-up trick? That's a cheat, is it? Even thought that's just game mechanics, and something most of us knew about since Super Mario Bros. 1. 15:28- Well, you'll have 127, because, you know, you died once. 15:44- This is even less of a cheat than the 1-up trick. This is just playing the game, and telling the solution to one specific maze castle in the game. 16:05- (As Narrator Boy) Try to do it better than we did, and not get hit. 16:22- Wow, the warp that pretty much everyone knows about in Super Mario 2. Gonna at least show the follow-up warp to World 6 from World 4? Nah, that's all the cheats you get from Mario 2. 16:48- Of course, the first warp whistle is the big cheat secret for Mario 3. They could tell you about something a little more obscure, like how to get the white mushroom house or something, but nah, let's fill you in on the most ill-kept secret in the whole game. 17:19- Okay, they're just taking the piss now, right? 17:49- The Super Scope is so amazing, there's only gonna be around 13 games that actually use the silly scope made for the system, and some will just be an optional game mode. 18:11- Good.

I remember being 8 years old and begging my mum to buy me this video ahead of Christmas 1993 after seeing it in our local Cash and Carry. I remember anticipating on watching an animated show about Super Mario All Stars, so you can imagine how disappointed I was when this was what actually showed on that video...NEVERTHELESS, I watched it over and over and over again religiously for about a good year, to the point that I knew line-for-line everything on this video, and not to my surprise, my 32 year old self still remembers of those lines! Didn’t realise how incredibly shit this was until watching it again though, but really nostalgic! My bloody God, I was a weird kid!!! 😂😂 oh thank you to the uploader!

Yeah, many hints (like the Japanese-style SNES, which is what Europeans got, and Star Fox being called "Starwing") had given it away.
