Wonderful review. I love the way that you weave in your own personal experiences and feelings towards your work and the material on review. This is really valuable stuff and not usually seen on other review shows. And, regarding this particular review, Scott’s work is uniformly stellar (I already own the book…). Many thanks.

Nique, the length of the comments people leave are symbolic of the great reviews you record and the personal experiences you share. Thank you for sharing professional-performer concerns that are generally kept hidden in the shadows.

Thanks for the review again. Nice to see that you prefer to go indepth into meaty material than the usual "trick". Probably will not interest has much has people, but for the professionals out here, to have this shared experience, has you did with Looch over his plateform, is enlighting. Keep up the great work

I just today found your channel. I really enjoy your reviews. Originally i watched a video about a "magic sharpie and intuition". Your the only reviewer thay stated things so simply. You said these tricks can be done without electronic gimmicks. Other channels really pushed buying thay gimick. I grew up loving magic. I now have a non verbal autistic 7 year old son and the one thing we connect over is magic. Generally autistic kids are in there own world and they don't invite anyone else. Just wanted to thank you and say youve more than earned my sub

Great review, Nique! (As always.) I live in Cambodia so we're practically neighbors. One day, I hope to visit Singapore - one of my favorite cities - and will try to see one of your shows. Best of luck with the Q&A shows.

Thank you so much for sharing your personal experience! As performers, we are usually not surrounded by people with the same challenges. Especially as mentalists. Hearing that you are currently struggling with the corporate vs pure mentalism performance is interesting, because I think that at some point many people have this struggle. Im nowhere near a position where I can perform for 300-1000 people (mostly only very small groups), but one of the reasons why I decided to not work towards a corporate performance is exactly what you are describing. (Mind, Im not a professional at all and my main income comes from a totally different field - which also totally changes how I treat mentalism. I don't have to rely on show bookings, etc). Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings. And I wish you that you find the best solution for yourself! :)

Thank you Marcel for tuning in! And yes, I would think after awhile, many professionals would have similar issues. It’s ironic that after chasing a particular direction, I’ve found that it wasn’t quite what I was looking for. Ah well… the learning continues.
