This is a great talk. Love both of these drummers. Nir Z more I learn the more I like this guy. His drumming is impeccable.

I got here from "Room.for Squares," specifically a favorite: "Neon." But there's very little I dislike on there, drum-wise or songwriting-wise. Wanted to hear how he says his name, tho... Holy cow, that's a $3,000 3-piece shell kit (no snare! No hardware; pedals or cymbals, obviously. Just drum shells if you're new). is it just me, or does no one else ever mention that match (matched grip: like 2 fists) is for a snare you wear, a holdover from our marching band days before there were drum kits in the early 20th century? If I'm not mistaken, because it tends to tilt in a way that makes sense, maybe? I'll attest their hardware holds up, even their inexpensive stuff. I'm too.old to want to carry around a huge, expensive kit for a small show. They keep a tune almost as well as the Vistalites, which are of course, plastic.

@@justhadrums of course! But...would you say the same about a gretsch drummer/ endorser? Or only sonor drummers? The fact remains, he finds the drums inspire him and help him solve creative problems. Have to respect that, no?
