The saddest thing about watching this now is that less than 6 months after this performance, Kurt would be gone. Now it's such a haunting performance.

I also crowd surfed for the only time... A good long ride! From the back to the front near Kurt and the band... The crowd was great and Loving of me... Not to another lady... After they dropped me off, don't remember the song, but I will pick one... Something like School off Bleach... Just the total mosh pit starts to REIGN!!!

She came right to me, and the back of the pit dropped her! I saw it coming and caught her off taller dudes than me. I ended up using my body to take the brunt of the fall. One of my hands ended up behind her head, and I prevented her head from bouncing off the floor. There was still some kind of lesser bump as my hand only prevented so much. My other hand, I next realized, was firmly cupping her left breast. Same time I realized that, I looked up and saw a big dude looking down on us? Her boyfriend? Never found out. We had a hard time getting her up, but found a chair and sat her down... Then realized she was passed out drunk!!! She was crowd surfing passed out drunk to Nirvana on New Years, 💕💯🔥😁 and that boob...it was nice! Damn Straight That was mine for 2 seconds!!!! I fu***** earned it!!!! 😁😁😁🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

It’s the drop off of instruments one by one at the end until it’s just him and Dave Grohl and then just him that’s so haunting. He was famous for changing lyrics at live shows.

You have to realize this is from the whole "MTV Unplugged" series of acoustic concerts with famous rock bands. Some of the best gigs ever recorded. The Unplugged with Alice in Chains is also brilliant.

When Kurt died under nefarious circumstances... I was devastated a long with everybody else. It was like losing a favorite family member, or a best friend...We were all in shock for a long time. Very sad to lose such a caring original musician who touched millions of people so deeply. The sad thing was Kurt's parents didn't want him. His mom kicked him out because her new boy friend was moving in. And he didn't want Kurt there. So he initially had to move out with the clothes on his back. He stayed underneath a bridge across the street for a short time. Then bounced around from couch to couch at his friends houses. When it was very cold out he would sleep in the front of the public library, where they had bean bag chairs for children. But for over night warmth he would go to the hospital baby delivery waiting room where he was born. He would pretend to be a family member of one of the new mothers giving birth. He went from that kind of life straight into being a wealthy pop star over night...
@@hankmullins3090 I believe it was just a concert. But because he died shortly after, people now perceive it as such.

The weird thing is, from what I've read, he actually did change the last lyrics to "all alone is all we are" for this performance. But it's so similar to all in all is all we are no one noticed.

I went to see The Nirvana live in concert in 1993. It was their "In Utero" tour. But they played all of their best songs from every album they made. BEST CONCERT EVER! And it was one of the best time's of my life. At 23 years old I still felt invincible, and didn't realize yet how fast time goes by in ones life. Enjoy yourself as much as possible while your still young. Because before you know it your 50 years old. 50 is when your body starts to betray you. Eye site starts to fade first. But my in my brain I still feel like I just graduated high school. I feel like I just saw Kurt Cobain in concert last year. Life is to short...
