@@bubba6675 so it's a one string solo on the g string the solo only has three notes, the 6th fret slide to the 9th then to the 11th and you repeat the slides and then bend up on the 11th bring the bend back down and play the 9th and 6th after you bended the 11th fret just get the amount of times you have to do it right and timing

There is something amazing about Nirvana with Pat Smear. Kurt was right, the two guitarist lineup really worked for Nirvana. Thank God we have this on video. RIP Kurt, thank you for your music brother.

At the time, I didn't like the change, but looking back on it now, the years with Pat and Lori too are the best years of the band. This is one of their more powerful concerts.

My favorite Nirvana song, if not my favorite song ever. There aren’t many high quality live versions of this song besides this and unplugged. I do get chills when that chorus kicks in though. It is just so perfect.

It was mostly his music, the energy fed through him, he wrote most of the music and almost all the lyrics, he was just on a different wavelength than normal humans.

This song always hurt the most. Beautiful farewell goodbye from kurts absence. To reassure us he didn’t have a gun but in fact did. That’s how I took the message as a kid. But the meaning is as a friend he’ll never pressure you to do anything. The complexity of Kurt so much alternate meaning behind his lyrics. Genius writer

They were not around for very long. but they made a lasting impact on music. songs like these are so good. this is one of my favorite Nirvana songs. you really feel connected to the music and the lyrics. Kurt knew how to write great lyrics. he was very smart and talented. sad that it all ended the way it did

I am 11 years old, I am from Russia. I started listening to Kurt from the age of 8-9, this was his first song that I listened to and basically learned by heart. My mom doesn't like nirvana and doesn't listen to this band, but I'm sure this band will live for generations to come. Sleep calmly, Kurt💗

As someone who was born in 2006 Kurt’s death hasn’t really effected me. He’s still very much alive to me so I’m thankful I can listen to nirvana without having to remember the day Kurt died. I wonder what it’s like to listen to nirvana in 2022 when you listened to them as a kid in the 90’s. Must be super nostalgic. I’ll be back in 30 years to remember my childhood.

Now that you say that, I realize that I feel the same way about Jimi and Joplin. Kurt’s death was a great tragedy in the circles I ran in. Nirvana formed just before I started high school and my friend’s older brother ran the soundboards at the OK Hotel in Seattle and told us about them. We were into punk and metal and Bleach became as much a part of the soundtrack as anything before all the rest came out. A lot of people I knew were really broke up about it. It definitely felt like a chapter turning.

It kinda makes me sad that our generation will most likely will not have an authentic rockstar like Kurt was, or like the Beatles were before. The chapter turning must be the end of the book too :(
