They originally played it in e flat tuning. I pitched it down to d standard like the album version.

Kurt-- Nirvana, as a band-- gets cooler, more badass as the yrs pass. This is the essence of rock- raw, edgy & no "tech frills"... perfectly imperfect.

Just saw an interview that posted two weeks before I write this… Rick Beato interviewing Krist along with Kim Thayil. It’s kind of stunning because Krist now looks like the kindly grocery store manager down the road. He remembers so much about Nirvana’s coming together and doesn’t mind going into detail.
