Jorge Luis Borges' relationship with Buddhism began when he was very young, probably around 1906. Over the years, the writer's innate intellectual curiosity and his exploration of universal philosophical concepts led him to delve into that religion or doctrine, which came to be to influence his writings.
In this report we make an introduction to Borges's passion for Buddhism and we reproduce in his voice and in text the lecture he gave on the subject in 1977, within the framework of the Seven Nights cycle.
