Hi, my handsome boys! ☺️ EPIC is right! Every single thing that you both had, looked absolutely delicious! The namafu did look delicious with the sweet miso sauce. The beef sushi...yum! My okasama loved kuromitsu, so the sesame tofu with kinako-I would love. Awwww! Okara cookies for Justin! You’re such good daddies! I want to try making okara for our Oshogatsu menu. We will see..... Nishiki Market is definitely going onto my bucket list. The dashimaki with dashi tsuyu looked amazing! Thank you for sharing boys! ❤️

I plan to book a food tour of Nishiki Market for my next visit (Nov 2020). I shopped there a lot on previous visits (Airbnb so I cook most meals) but thanks to you both, I now realise how little I really know of what the market has to offer! 👍🏽 Have you thought of doing your own Tabieats food tours in Tokyo? I would love to explore the old Tsukiji market with you both! I am sure you would have lots of people willing to join too (and you can video the experience for those who can't actually be with you.) Please 🙏 think about it.

I love how uniform the food is presented in Japan. I would not be surprised if the saying, "Good enough is never good enough." originated in Japan. All the foods you showed were prepared with care. That is not something you tend to find with regularity in the United States these days. Being a kind of egg FANATIC, I would love to try the Tamagoyaki sandwich. Thanks for the video and have a Happy New Year!

I have started making my own tofu (great fun - learned how from EmmymadeinJapan) and never knew it could be eaten as anything but savoury so thanks for the education 👍🏽 I am going to try it with silan (pure date syrup) instead of kuromitsu, and as I can't get kinako (soybean powder) either, maybe I could toast some ground almonds instead - or toasted sesame seeds. I'll let you know how I get on.

As it happens, I will be going to Osaka on holiday this year, in October, and I will definitely be jaunting over to Kyoto for at least one or two days if I can help it while I'm there. This will be a place I will hit up, and by then I will have acquired a bit more Japanese so that I won't be quite as helpless as I was in Tokyo last year! Good video, fellows!
