Seriously, does anyone know why Safiullin has gone backwards over the past 18 months? He reached quarter finals of Wimbledon in 2023, beaten only by Sinner in majestic form, and was looking very promising, big serve and big groundstrokes. He seems so inconsistent nowadays and rather sluggish around the court. He was a top junior hampered by injury on the ATP circuit before he had a resurgence in 2022/3.
