The only problem is and I had this with the Almera model before or after this one. When you take the cd player out to fit an aftermarket one in, the screws out of that Nissan radio bracket aren't compatible with the aftermarket unit..

Hello my friend. I want to put led lights on the Heating And air conditioning control Panel in my almera. I also managed to put the panel out and saw its serial number which is csw-8250d. But then i have no idea how to disassemble it. Even if i took the screws it seems that something still keeps the board..do you have any idea if its possible to change the lighting on the centre dash panel?

Hi Mark. I have problem with my CD player on same car. Display show's me "SECURE" on green screen. + CD stucked inside. I've already bought another brand CD player. Where can I find adapter for my system, to keep original wires.
@MASAudio

Dim Kize Hi, look on eBay etc for Nissan to ISO cable and you should find a lead to match. Because of this cars audio design, it is not plug and play.. you have to do a bit of modifying to get it all to work and fit.
@MrMagsimus

I think green secure is usually after battery being removed and thus triggers the NATS SYSTEM PROGRAM , I’ve got ‘this problem at the moment and may need to send it to the dealers to have it hooked up and programmed , it’s a real ball ache as the sat nav and climate control is linked to this otherwise I’d have slung it all in the bin and bug an aftermarket unit in. 👍

Hi Mark, great video, just what I have been looking for, seems very simple, I have a question, I would like to move the existing head unit on the top to down the bottom where the cd player and gap are, so all its functions will still work, and put an andriode screen in the top hole where the old head unit is, so I can have a touch screen to play spotify and use other functions that an andiode tablet comes with google maps, internet, do you think this would be possible and how difficult, cheer Stu

Hi Mark, great upload, thanks a lot. I'm having intermittent issues with my CD and radio. At the moment it's just not working at all. Basically the buttons on the right hand side of the panel all work but the ones to control the radio don't respond and either does the radio push dial. That doesn't make the beep anymore and the CD eject button doesn't respond. I feel there's a bad connection somewhere. I got in the car the other day and the radio actually came on but since then I've had no joy. There's a cd stuck in the player as well but I don't think it's related. Have you ever come across this kind of problem before? Thanks a lot. Gerard

Hi, thanks for watching the video, It could be a bad connection, 1st check your fuses and make sure they are ok and making good contact.. they are known for jamming CDs in.. but normally they just make a horrible gear crunching sound on eject, but will usually still play ok. If your fuses are ok for the radio supply then follow the video and double check for voltage on the back of the radio. Thanks. Mark @ MAS Audio

@@Areoss89 Hi, no I haven't had a chance to remove the dash. Radio and buttons on the left including the dial and CD player are still not responding and it's been like that for a few days now. Hi Mark, i have recently bought a nissan almera and my question is if it is possible to have a head unit without affecting the climate control. In some of the threads they say that the climate control wont work when building in a head unit
@MASAudio
6 жыл бұрын
Hello, yes this is true.. the climate controls are part of the original headunit.. the only way to do it is to keep some of the old headunit and hide it.. and custom wire a replacement headunit in place.

@@MASAudio Yes I'm about to try it, going to buy a small single din car stereo tomorrow, problem is i'll most definitely need an iso adapter since I don't dare strip the wires and solder it myself since the car is in a fairly mint condition.

@@Alex-ch2ud here is a secret to it.. The way I found is get an SOT cable for a hands free kit, and use the Nissan to ISO section.. as they don't make an ISO harness specific to this car..
