Love this car!!! Cannot wait to drop off my 2015 and pick up my 2017 model next week! Yes, I agree that this is a unique looking auto. That is part of the attraction to some of us. It's a prime example of the "love it or hate it" thing.

I've had my 2017 Juke SV for less than a month now, and I'm in love with it too. All black with white trim... White spoiler and all but the sided accents in white as well. The wheels are black with a shiny surface. I drove it from San Diego to Sacramento and back without a single issue. Gas mileage averaged 29.9 mpg. Not bad considering I drive rather quickly. 80-90 mph. Looks great, dependable, and new and shiny!

@@jansenallensigaton6328 I don't know how it compares to other small SUV's, but compared with the Skoda 1.4 TSI I owned before, it does drink a lot of juice. And the Skoda is a heavier car with a larger engine. Fuel consumption is definitely not the Juke's best point, but it has redeeming qualities which make it a good choice for some.

It is a marmite car but I love it. Test drove a top spec one last week for a mobility magazine and was impressed by the range of safety features included ie, 360 degree camera, blind spot alarm, lane discipline alert, plus stop/start technology, sat nav etc. Great little car!

I’ve had my 1.6 Turbo Kuro version for about six months now. I have been driving for well over 40 years and as you can imagine I have driven and owned a great many cars. I can say, hand on heart, that I loved my Juke from day one and I still make up excuses to drive it whenever I can. It is quirky, cute, very fast (with nearly 190bhp on tap), the ride is good and roadholding is superior to many others cars. It’s capabilities suit my needs perfectly, neither too big or too cramped and very, very versatile. I would have bought the Nismo version but eventually decided it wasn’t worth the insurance hit just for (basically) a few more bhp, uncomfortable racing seats and a pretty badge. I know that the styling in not to everyone’s taste and understand that but it is nevertheless a great little car as can be witnessed by the number currently on the road. M

It's an interesting, unique car! I drove the 1.5dci Tekna the other week and thought it was great to drive with good visability, excellent comfort and adequate handling. Nissan Safety Shield works brilliantly, if not a little bit overkill on a car of this size but any extra tech is always a bonus in my book. No, its not massively quick and definitely not as engaging as the equivalent 1.5tdci Ford Focus I've also previously driven but there is a reason car's are given classes?! For what its worth, the Juke is funky, unique and fun in its own quirky way. I like that Nissan dared to get away from the clean straight edges and 'German' style minimalist designs of their competitors. Much like Citroen are now doing once again, it shows they're confident in their brand and their designs and I personally think the roads are better for the extra vehicle diversity. Marmite car or not, I think its a great little motor!!!

Well, I'm on my second mark one Juke the current one being a 2019 Tekna Bose, both have the brilliant economical 1.5dci engine which is mega frugal. It's never going to be classed as fast but it's got fantastic torque and pulls away quickly with more than enough vigor from traffic lights for me and cruises on the motorway in a relaxing manner. Thanks for a realistic warts n all test of the Juke, very accurate in my opinion. My next car will more than likely be the New Juke although it's bigger and has improved in so many area's compared to the original (classic and ground breaking design) I'm not too enamoured by the engine choice, a 1.0ltr 3 cylinder turbo. It will need to be a mild hybrid for me, so come on Nissan let's get hybrid and electric models into the sector.

Changed from a Skoda Octavia 1.4 TSI to a Juke 1.2 Acenta Premium last year because my 91 year-old mother simply could not get out of the Octavia any more. How the mighty have fallen! I cannot abide the looks (it is without doubt the ugliest car I've ever seen), but it is actually nothing like as bad as I thought it was going to be. Ride is good (if it suffers from 'excessive body roll', then I'm damned if I can tell), it is easy for people with mobility problems to get in and out of, performance is better than expected, and on the motorway it's an absolute star because it's got cruise control, which I've never had before; downsides are the rear legroom, that godawful body shape, and the fuel consumption. The Juke's best MPG so far is in fact worse than the worst the Skoda ever managed - even though the latter is a heavier car with a larger engine. (Edit: Poor fuel consumption was due to a faulty oil control valve, which was fixed under warranty. Vehicle now returns 44 - 48 mpg in mixed driving conditions, which is actually pretty good for a tall car, and compares very well with the Skoda's). That said, it does have character and I have to say I'm warming to it. One thing I particularly like is the hard, high-gloss plastics Nissan have used on the interior trim: I'm sure it's an unintended consequence, but these materials do not attract dust at all, and the inside of the car has remained visibly cleaner than any other I have ever owned. It sounds silly I know, but I've always had to thoroughly valet my other cars at least once a year; but I've had the Juke for nearly nine months, and it still looks almost showroom ready on the inside. Nice one, Nissan!

I bought mine 2013 from fidelity motors in Jamaica (the dealer). Whilst I have buyers remorse as a result of the blocking of features such as blue tooth, intelligent 4x4, in steering controls, no camera, the lack of light in the back passenger and in adequate in the trunk areas and the lack of two more speakers and the suspensions could be more responsive. I rather love the car. It's unique look and bold design, the SUV clearance, the visibility, the nibbleness and handling is great. The hidden handles I found interesting also. I get 420km - 500km out of a full tank.

Juke and Subaru XV have the same fuel consumption rating, Juke is 7.8L/100km, while Subaru is 7.7L/100km. For the price, you can get a 2015 automatic Juke equivalent to a 2012 Subaru XV, the difference for me is the AWD, which Juke lacks...

The doorhandle in the rear pillar really needs to die out. It doesn't look any better than a door handle on the door, it adds irregularity, it's clearly visible so looks like an odd hole in the pillar, and it's difficult to reach for children.

Nissan claims 50mpg but you only managed 36mpg. So go for the Diesel you say, because that can achieve 70mpg. But is that an assumed ability, gleaned from the same misleading document that belched out the 50mpg figure or has Car Keys verified it? If it's the former, that's rather odd logic with which to form a recommendation.

I have averaged 41mpg in mine - same engine as on test - covering 63k miles in 27 months - I do drive it hard though and the climate control is never off so I reckon my MPG could be bettered easily but I don't mind I think 40+ MPG is fine
