Thank you so much for the video! Just replaced my fog lights with LEDs today!

You don't need to unscrew anything to remove the DRL bulbs, they just turn anticlockwise and pull out like the foglight bulb. Oh and it would have been easier to turn your wheel fully to the right, not the left as this creates more room. Otherwise mate, nice video 👍

I don't know what percentage of your subs are American but it really boils my urine when British KZitemrs insist on converting pounds to dollars when talking about buying something. Believe me when i say........They NEVER convert dollars to pounds on their videos. We really don't need to pander to the Yanks.

Thanks for this video. I watched some time ago because my left side DRL light was broken just the same way as yours. Changing the left side was easy, but there were som sharp edges that made me bleed for the cause also. However, there was to big difference in the new and old lamp, so I had to change the right side too. That was WAY harder. The process was basically the same, but on the right side there was some kind of liquid tank and a couple of other things that was in the way. The space in the fender was MUCH tigher and I wished I had smaller hands an thinner arms. But I got the job done and my little, red car has (matching) DRLs again. Didn't cost too much either. I got both lights for less than £100 and the hours spent changing them was free.

I can’t fault that. Changing car bulbs are usually fairly easy but access if often not the best. Saab’s were a pain in the neck to work on. Everything crammed in so tight often needed, one person to read the manual, one to lay on their back half under the bumper, one to hold a torch from the top but not be able to see what had to be illuminated, one to guide the screwdriver/spanner/socket and one to see what was going on but had no way of reaching anything. The handiest person, was the one making the tea and offering biccies. And everything was held in place, with three different length screws an two different size nuts.

Ryan the Jack of all trades with his EV that's got an engine 🤣. Sorry Ryan had to laugh @ that 1. It's an electric motor if you would like to know 😎. Lol. Also if I kill myself I can't really come to you moaning can I? 🤣. On a serious note it was good to see a none professional like myself to do replacements on an EV without the expensive cost of a main dealer. Nice 1 👍. Keep up the good work and maybe 1 day we can see you sweat more blood and tears fixing your ENGINE!!! 😎👍

My Leaf went in for a service, the Nissan garage said there was a problem with the electrics and the fog light bulbs can't be replaced? They were fine for 3 years, the went within 6 months of each other. Thanks for sharing, might try myself..

I've watch many car repair videos. This would be the first one I've seen on the Nissan leaf. I recall accidently hitting a bird in my Leaf. It pushed that lamp in. I just got Nissan to look at it under warranty. (Said it was faulty) they fixed for me. This video would have been useful if I'd not have had the warranty. Thanks for sharing, good video.

I seem to cut myself doing the simplest of jobs. Maybe I should wear gloves in future. I was considering buying LED DRL’s for these lights. They are £25 and have a great reviews. Just wasn’t sure if it was worth the faff. I have replaced all my interior lights with LED’s though.

Are you sure using fog lamps as daytime running light is legal in Europe, or are they special lamps certified as both, as they have two bulbs? Never mind, you explain it in the video!
