After some pain having the radio and information system in my 2012 Nissan Pathfinder dump its memory each time I turned off the vehicle, I did some research on the issue. It turns out most, if not all Nissan vehicles have something called an Extended Storage Switch. The fuse within this switch turned out to be the issue.
