I am confused or do not need the ballast when you have the non-projector unit. Video I saw you just have to install the H11 and your done. Assuming the 'ballast' is needed with projector headlights. Thanks for the video as it was helpful to see this upgrade.

Thank you for your interest. There are many factors and many upgrades to headlight housings over the years that help mitigate any glare to oncoming drivers. It is more or less the color of the light which causes distraction and not the actual brightness intensity itself. If you notice, the most distracting lights to see on the road are the blue HID lights which cause a lot of glare for the human eye, whereas you probably never noticed the 6000K or 8000K lights on the road because they are more natural to the human eye.

The new Premium 360 LED bulbs are the next generation of new LEDs. Compared to the older 5050SMDs, these LEDs have 3 times the light output per LED. The 360 LED chip is designed for maximum light output while the aluminum housing helps to dissipate heat effectively for the longevity of the bulb. The new 360 LEDs have a Constant Current Circuit design which helps maintain brightness if the voltage fluctuates within the circuit and has voltage surge protection up to 18V. And of course, all of our interior 360 LEDs are backed by our lifetime warranty.

Hi! The legality varies vastly from locale to locale and you will need to check with your local laws and regulations. What we commonly dissuade customers from, and what is illegal, are any colors above 6000K, as they are prohibited by the Department Of Transportation. Any color hues in your headlights are very distracting to other drivers which is why we only carry the 6000K color temperature for the headlamps, as they project the purest white.
