I bought two nitecore lights several years ago. The HM27 & the HC30 both maximum output 1000 lumens. I have to say I have been very pleased with them. Zero complaints. Keep their charge forever if you do not use them. I have thought many times about getting a few more. But these two work perfect for me. I have considered getting this one & another regular flashlight.

I've had this for a couple weeks now. Absolutely ticks so many important headlamp boxes. Worth every penny. Thank you Nitecore!

Wow, Nitecore hit a home run with this one. I'm a huge Fenix fan and I love my HM65R but this just blew it away thanks to him I have not seen this one until now. Great job on this one Nitecore !!!!!

Good. I use a Petzel that takes 2 CR 123. This is worth a try.

Thanks for the review! Do you have any comments on battery runtime over the different modes? I find 18650 small for such a powerhorse. I think 21700 would have been a better fit regardless the extra weight.

Nice review… but when showing us the beams, pls project distances farther. We don’t want to see the side of your house, down the street or a large field would suffice. I’m going to place my order with Nitecore. Thanks. Nice review otherwise! 👍👍😁🇺🇸

Its veen great minus the low run time when on the high mode. Does not last a full 10 hour shift. The second half of the day is much less productive with the battery running low. The output of the light caused the lense to burn a hole through and that lead to an issue with getting any warranty work in the United States

Is the light cold? At what Kelvin?

How does that plastic fare on your direct forehead? That can’t be too comfortable cinching down a firm fit allowing a steady placement of the head band in order for the unit to not move about and compressing plastic against essentially skin and bone.

Beware the ones shipping now, They took away most of the button functions. The instant turbo function, the low light function, and a couple other button functions no longer work.

Thats a neat light. I like the idea of being able to back track on the settings vs having to run thru them again to get the light you want

I have it too, is it natural that the headlamp unit is hot when using it?

Does this headlamp light work while the battery is charging?

This might be a divvy question but what can you do with a hand torch that you cant head torch? I have a Olight Batten 2 as well as the HC 68 that I just bought for 80quid . I know fuck all about torchs ,just use them for walking the dogs at night. I cant see why anyone would want a light in your hand ,that you could drop when you can have one planted on your head .

Good question. I would say it depends on your application. Sometimes it’s nice to be able to point my hand in a very different direction than where my head is. Certainly for people in tactical fields like police officers there’s an advantage to be able to turn the light on off quickly with your thumb

Nice review 👍🏻😃. Btw it would be perfect if the tail cap is a magnet just like the HC35 or HC33
