If people prefer a more balanced light, go for MH12s. It has a less defined hot spot, but higher density spills. The MH25s has the potential to be a Warrior X Pro killer. Sharply priced with a very useable mid level unlike WXPro.

That's right, it will be a competitor to olight warrior x pro with a lower price ... great design and quality

I own both; the MH25s makes the Warrior X Pro look sad in comparison. I'm honestly bummed I've had the Olight/lights too long to return them; to be 100% honest, I didn't like the Warrior X Pros puke yellow beam from the minute I turned it on; however, the light didn't do badly overall, and sadly I wasn't aware of Nitecores offering at the time. I've also purchased the P20i to replace my Warrior Pro; again, the Nitecore has the better overall light. Olights still have that super heavy-duty build feel but fall short on performance next to Nitecores offerings. I've noticed Olight just released the Warrior 3; it's now back to cool white; that said, at this point, Olight has lost me as a customer for good.

I have the Warrior 3. And the MH12S should be delivered in a couple of wks. I'm interested to compare the 2.

@@jcadvanced Let me know how it works out. I was really debating the Warrior 3 when they were on sale; if they'd have added a strobe, I may have pulled the trigger; however, the two settings on the Warrior X Pro I have been disappointing enough, buying another would have been counter-intuitive IMHO. Another thing Nitecore does much better is charging, Olights seem to take forever compared to my Nitecore torches. On paper the W3 out-performs the MH25s by about 59 meters; however, having several light settings as opposed to two makes the MH25s much more user-friendly; well, at least for me. Best of luck; I hope you enjoy them both...

If you need a $1.00 diffuser for this light go to dollar tree, get the bitter flavor popcorn seasoning in the white plastic container with the yellow top. You will have to trim the inside a little

P20ix or this one?

I am having trouble understanding your runtime graph that you posted. It appears after about 10 minutes the turbo output drops down to about 50% of max brightness which would be approximately 900 lumens or so. Is that right? In other reviews I’ve found that the smaller version (MH12S) only drops down to about 1100 lumens and was hoping they would be pretty similar.

Hi w0lfATTACK, the runtime graphs, made by me, are not made with the Ceiling Bounce method, but are made with the luxmeter which calculates the CD (candle or lux/1m) of the torch output. Regarding the MH12S, I don't know what graph you have seen (If you're referring to the zeroair.org test, it was done with active ventilation) but the light power of the flashlight drops to a third of the initial one and therefore below 700 lumens after about ten minutes.
