President Nixon: You know, listen, I had not thought of it, but . . .
Rose Mary Woods: [whispering to King Timahoe] That's it, come here!
President Nixon: This is the day the--
Woods: That Kennedy was . . . ?
President Nixon: Right.
President Nixon: [Unclear] he survived one day longer. That was some [unclear] time.
Woods: [Unclear] that same day.
President Nixon: He was shot that day, but he didn't die that day. He died the next morning.
Woods: Yeah, he did.
President Nixon: Oh, he did, the same--?
Woods: Jack Kennedy?
President Nixon: Yeah.
Woods: Sure. His head was really blown off.
President Nixon: They didn't say so in the news, though.
Woods: Yeah. Yeah, they did. They--remember, she [Jacqueline Kennedy] flew back with him that night. With the body. [To King Timahoe] Come here, boy. Come here.
President Nixon: OK.
