Considering the significant territorial distance from the rest of the Nizhny districts, it was decided to allocate the territory of the automobile plant with the populated areas located in its region to the fourth district of Nizhny Novgorod. The district was formed from the lands of the Kanavinsky District of Nizhny Novgorod and the Dzerzhinsky District of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Initially, the district consisted of the working city of the automobile factory with the villages of American, Eastern, Northern, Western and the villages of Karpovka, Monastyrka, Malyshevo. The area occupied by him to the beginning of the 2nd five-year plan was 27.7 sq. Km. In 1934, the territory increased due to the inclusion of the settlements of Gnilitsy, Strigino, Nagulino, and a bit later - the village of New Doschino. In 1931, the first five residential houses of Sotsgorod were settled, the construction of a bakery, a kitchen factory, a school, a laundry room, a bathhouse, a club, a canteen began. Along with the construction of housing and community facilities, concern for the health of people is manifested, and qualified medical assistance is organized for the residents of the district. So, in 1933, Hospital No. 1 received an independent building on Ilyich Avenue and became multi-disciplined. In the same year, the central district clinic moved to a new building
