Gives me goosebumps... 8 years later, he's unquestionably among the best of the best.

Six years later (2021), he is olympic champion at 1500 meter and in 2022, world champion at 5000 meter. Moreover, he has world indoor record at 1500 meter, his first one in the adult class. He never stop to impress.

that's like 9th grade, OMG! That time would have won the boys state of Pennsylvania High School Championship when i was in high school. If he was born in the United States and he had the same accomplishments, as he has now the family had the same reality show, he would be the biggest athlete in the US, bigger than Lebron James, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, all of them. Jakob Ingebrigtsen is exceptional. A once in a lifetime talent.

Dude a 2:03 is a solid good time for any age. Anyone who can do that should be crazy proud of themselves. Comparing yourself to the best is just a waste of time.

I don't think Jakob would mind if Brandon Miller ran faster than him at any younger age. Perhaps Brandon can invite Jakob over to his house to see the Olympic gold medals and World Championship medals he's only won in his head.

Technically you're right when it comes to him not winning the race, but technically he's also a winner setting a new world age record under 15 at that time. Running against the senior elite in Norway and get a 3rd place as a 14 year old ... is ridiculous. This was also a private video taken by one in his family (I believe?). Why shouldn't they focus on him?

If ur going to record a family member or a friend’s race, or even if they were just a supporter or fan of him, why wouldn’t they focus on him. This isn’t NBC or an official network recording. It’s someone’s phone or personal camera. U just sound like another jealous nobody
