Wow! What shocks me the most about these murder cases is the varying amount of time the killers and coconspirators are sentenced to. This one gets 50 years to life with no body, yet someone else who killed and dismembered the victim gets ten to 15 in another state. Seems like it should be universal.
@OLALALA1019
Ай бұрын
@@riosomaYeah it depends on what state you’re in. I’m from Connecticut. We’re a blue state. We don’t play with murder charges and they will 100% throw the book at you in terms of time but we don’t give death sentences. Although there’s been a few cases like the Cheshire murders which was so heinous everyone in CT was calling to overturn that law. Depending on how you see it though no death penalty can actually be way worse lol. In places like Texas they’ll come down on you but they’ll also take you out. Texas really doesn’t play but I have noticed certain southern states can be a little more lenient on women when it comes to sentencing. A lot of it comes down to which states are pro death penalty or not. And then they vary from there based on time, time served etc. I think certain crimes should have a universal minimum.

Love trumps common sense in many, many a circumstance. Have you ever heard of the Chris Porco case? Horrifying murder, young college student viciously murdered his father with an axe, maimed his mother in an attempt to kill her to (she lost an eye, etc). It's *searingly* obvious the young son did it, but the mother is convinced her little boy is innocent (to this day). It's almost like her mind is protecting itself by not allowing her to entertain the notion her son destroyed her family (killed her husband, forever altered her life with her injuries, and her young son is in prison for the rest of his life.)

I have a theory. I do not think Fotis intended to kill himself. Instead, he wanted people to think he wanted to kill himself but be saved. The fact that his girlfriend alerted the courts that he could be trying to harm himself, the fact that he decided to do it the morning he had to be in court, and the fact that he was almost saved makes me think that his goal was not to die. His suicide note was not a real suicide note, he wanted people to think it was so that when he was saved he could use it as a defense. Like a “see, he thought he was going to die, if he was guilty, he would have said so in the note.” I think he was too full of himself and cocky to want to do unalive himself in my opinion

Maybe he was the one that dispossessed of the body. I hope they check his whereabout the day when those two were throwing the garbage bags. 😳

Innocent people don't commit suicide. Where I'm from a guy was caught with CP after putting cameras in his step daughters room. He went on the run and killed himself. From that day I believed innocent people don't kill themselves!

Most people who commit suicide ARE innocent but tortured, but they do it to where someone will find their body, with a note apologizing to people they loved. A criminal who commits suicide, which is what I think you mean.... usually isn't innocent, but sometimes they may be❤
@josiefike

@nopetfout5426 yes that's what I mean. A criminal who does is probably is most likely guilty. In my opinion. I should have clarified that.

Can you cover the 1982 Los Angeles Fetus Disposal Scandal. Where 16,500 babies were found in jars in a shipping container. I know its controversial, but I cant believe I never heard about this before.

It’s so freaking sad. Jennifer’s children lost their mother AND their father, and do not have the resolution of having their mother’s remains to lay to rest. Fotis was a selfish MFer.

This ain't the first time that weasel Norm Pattis lost a "no body, no murder" case. I'm here for it. He probably thought the self-delete was gonna make the rest of this case a slam dunk. Still waiting for his client George Leniart to Fotis Dulos himself.

I believe that although Fotis was a manipulator, that Michelle and Kent willingly assisted in the murder. They may not have helped k¡ll Jennifer but they helped in other ways. Thanks for another great reporting.

If Fotis was really innocent, he would have never said that legal system treated him fairly. He would have been very angry he is being accused of murder he didn't commit. Also, when interviewer asked what he wants everyone to know, he should have said "that I didn't kill Jennifer, I'm innocent" but he mumbled something about "our family is going through a hard time". What?? This is what you want to tell thousands of people when you have the chance, instead of proclaiming your innocence again? It's ridiculous.

Fotis’ lawyer knew damn well the court wouldn’t allow the estate to take his place for the trial after his death. That speech was just a way for the lawyer to still be able to not count the case as a loss. Such a slimy, self preserving tactic.

Fotis killed himself because he knew very well there was no escape for him. I'm very surprised Michelle didn't spill everything out after his death. She could easily try to cut a deal. It's very obvious she knows everything and was part of it even if he manipulated her.

This is a very sad case indeed. It is my opinion that Michelle is culpable in the death of Jennifer Dulos if not directly, then she at least had knowledge of what happened to her and who killed her. Thanks again Kendall Rae for covering this case so class fully. ❤❤

I donated too to the go fund me, and I’m happy that they will provide updates on it! I hope the CT state police work with them so that Jennifer can be found and put to rest! What stood out to me was, during Fotis's interview he said, "I know what I did..." then he paused and then said, "and I know what I didn't do." It felt like a Freudian slip. I believe that is the term. I mean I think he meant to say I know what I didn't do, but I accidentally said I know what I did do, because he DID DO!
@maga2042

I noticed that also. Such a weird thing to say if you are innocent. He totally slipped. If he was innocent, he would have started with I didnt do this. I didnt kill her or hurt her or something like that.

I’m confused why his suicide note said he was innocent but he also admitted that his gf and his lawyer were not involved. That’s a paradox. He’d only know they weren’t involved if he WAS involved. he basically admitted guilt in his suicide letter

I think she knowingly helped Fotis cover up his crime. She may very well have known what he was going to do in advance and conspired with him, but I don't think the evidence is strong enough to prove that beyond a reasonable doubt.
