Today we chatted with BC abstract artist, art educator, workshop leader, yogi and self-described 80's girl Marlene Lowden.
Marlene shared many stories about her career as an artist, including early painting sessions with her father and Bob Ross, working in the television industry in Vancouver, discovering yoga in her 40's, becoming an art teacher and workshop leader (in Morocco this fall!) and creating a life and career she loves.
Visit her website https;//www.herartstory.com to read about her two-year long project to learn about and paint the works of over 30, unsung Canadian women artists. Her "Blind Contour Homage" exhibition visited many local galleries in 2020 and 2021.
