The koenigsegg crash test where it’s literally a tank
@spddrgn77
Well, youre gonna be crashing your bank account as well...
@master21mark
As a former rr contractor, I can advise the creator you're wrong. The basic model is tested, and customisation lies within the confines of changes which wouldn't have a material impact on the results of the tests. Anything that would has to be tested. All car manufacturers have to crash test a base model, or show testing certification for the parts used, it's the law.

I'm no law expert but I'm pretty sure every car company is required to do one

Just come to Miami. They crash them all the time here.

Plus, it’s also because it takes 6 months for them to make 1 so the customers will probably have to wait even longer for their Rolls-Royce

This video couldn’t be more incorrect if it tried!! There are a pre-production launch of all production cars. Normally a minimum of 3 cars will be sent to Mira Technology Park in the UK for testing. These tests rang from things like Durability, Crash Testing, and even down to things like testing for Electro Magnetic Intelligence. While in parallel all senior staff members along with other staff members will be driving them for at least a year prior to launch for development testing! And this will be done in multiple countries!

Rolls Royce does crash test their cars. The thing is, its not a requirement to publish the footage. I think why RR didn't publish it is not to tarnish its image as it crumples like a regular car or think the car is made out of tin can as it is a very luxurious brand and they don't want people to think or dissuade potential buyers. But it is in the law that NA, EU NCAP, APAC require a crash test, both simulated and physical

Every vehicle company is required to crash test their vehicles to sell them especially here in the US and all of Europe and Japan.
@lyndonlouie4108
Then why are they available in the US. My understanding was that Porsche would not test the 959, so the US didn’t allow sales.

There is no way Rolls Royce is allowed sell cars in the UK or Europe that have not undergone some sort of crash test. This is false.

This is nonsense. The cars are required to be crash-tested in order to be permitted to be sold in the EU and US markets.

A Rolls is a BMW 7 series underneath (chassis, engine, body panels) which has been crash tested extensively. So no need foor crash testing a Rolls which, technically, is a BMW 760 with a different outer body

You’re completely wrong, every single modern production car is crash tested, if Rolls-Royce didn’t crash test their cars they wouldn’t be allowed to sell them.
