Back in the day, if you were having some emotional issues, you needed to get that stuff handled because hey...as I would hear very often... "just shut up and drum."
To an extent, I believe this is true and it is important that we learn to have thick skin and be able to internally generate a positive attitude. Heck, there's plenty of videos I've created urging you all to have that type of mindset...everything will be alright, nothing is as bad as it seems, and find a way to block out the negative noise in your head.
But even I have realized that it's not always possible to be positive all the time.
Not only is it not always possible, but it is unnatural to be happy and positive all the time.
I think we really should talk about mental health in the activity and one approaching towards achieving better mental health is to allow ourselves to feel weak at times and even break down when necessary.
I certainly had my moments recently and this video was very cathartic for me.
