🍏Today I am sharing with you a recipe for apple lavash strudel. I'll show you how to cook it so that the filling is thick and the pita bread is crispy and crumbly.

🔹Ingredients: 🔹
🔹Filling:
✔Apples - 350 g.
✔Zest of one lemon
✔Butter - 30 g.
✔Sugar - 80 g (if the apples are sour, then add more).
✔Starch (I used corn) -15 g
✔Lavash (I have a big one) - 2 pcs.
🔹For lubrication:
✔Egg - 1 pc.
✔Powdered sugar or sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
✔Sour cream/yogurt - 2 tbsp. l.
✔Cinnamon, nuts for decoration - optional.
🕑Bake at t 170° for an average of 20-25 minutes. The exact baking time depends on your oven. The pita bread should be browned.
❗Notes ❗
✅I add starch to the apples - then the filling is guaranteed not to leak and the bottom of the lavash will be well baked.
✅If apples are sour, add more sugar. Adjust sweetness to your liking.
✅Due to sour cream and egg grease, the lavash turns out crispy and crumbly, similar to phyllo dough. Although, of course, a lot depends on the quality of the lavash itself.
✅Divide the greasing mixture so that it is enough to coat the top layer.
✅You can cut the roll while warm.
