You are keeping busier than you realize! Things will likely feel better when you hit the 3-month mark. It will be far from healed, but the pain won't plague you as much provided you keep within your restrictions. Well, except on PT days. Those you will likely need to devote to ice. But you are doing great! Your greenhouse is wonderful! Your husband has done such a great job on it. How exciting! Really looking forward to the June challenge. I've finally finished my son's birthday present - a memorial to the fur babies he and his sister lost within a short time span. I'll post it over in Patreon chat. I started that darn thing over so many times it wasn't funny. But it's done! It was good to see your post!

You're doing great, Amy! You pack more in a day than you realize, I think. I really enjoy seeing your life - your dog, the birds, the greenhouse, the basement (love it) and of course the art. You're talented and tenacious! Sending you good wishes for continued recovery.

Hi Amy. I really enjoyed this video with the outdoor footage. Not all weeks are conducive to producing finished artwork, that's ok. I watch you to see a workung artist's lifestyle, not how much you can produce. Be gentle with yourself and make content that you enjoy making, and your audience will enjoy it too. You don't need to push yourself so hard or apologize for letting us down! The only disappointment is your own, so let it go. I hope things go easier this week. Sending hugs to get you through.🎉

For someone who's had a tough week, you sure got an impressive amount of stuff done! I'm so glad your shoulder is making some healing progress, even if it's slow. Yay, Amy!! I do hope your dear hubby gets his injuries checked out. I love all the video footage of your sweet dog, birds nesting, the new pear tree & rose, and the wonderful greenhouse!! Your fantastic basement studio is really coming along! Btw, I'm impressed by your abilities to film and talk about interesting topics and do it so smoothly and well. Please don't stress about your channel, if possible, or push your body beyond what is best for you! Years ago, I broke my leg in 3 places while learning to ski. At the time, I was a freshman in college and majoring in art. I had to drop out and let it heal for the whole spring semester. It was a slow and painful process. To me, your shoulder sounds worse. Please have patience and compassion for yourself. You'll eventually heal and be back to doing everything again!!! Your art is lovely!! Hugs a good wishes for you and your family!!❤

OMG your pup is such a sweetheart.🥰 The chubby little chickadees are my favorite. I'm so glad we have them here in WA too. It probably seems like your healing is moving at a snails pace, but you'll get there. And I see you're so close to 9k! Whoo hoo!❤

Hope the next week sees great improvements for you and all the family. Even without the art content, this was still a fun video showing some different aspects of life around the Winter Woods Studio. I miss the greenhouse I had in England before I moved to Florida in 2006. Every year I grew 10-12 tomato plants and they always tasted ten times better than store-bought ones. Thanks for continuing to put out videos even with all the stuff you're having to deal with right now - kind regards, Brian.

Wishing you only the best Amy. You are doing much more than you think you are and moving around so well. I had my rotator cuff surgery on the 14 of May and it was totally torn, they had to anchor it to the bone. Of course they found other things too…But I’m on the way to recovery now. Please be careful with the jewelry making 💜

Progress is still progress, no matter how small! I understand the frustration though, last year I had to have my dominant arm in a sling for a few weeks (doctors thought I had fractured my elbow, turns out I just had some bruising which healed up fine) and oh man it was so annoying! Wishing for better days for you and your family

Oh I hope your husband will bite the bullet and just get checked all out. Have the same problem with my own husband. And thanks for the chickadee video. My cat loved it. I have never seen her watch TV, let alone chase the bird. Haha. Now she stands in front of the TV to chase your hand while painting. You got another fan. Have a wonderful week. Just keep smiling. ❤

I love the cute puppy hugs. My late (115 lb) shepherd mix used to do that... you had to be braced and ready for it so you didn't get knocked over. Lol. And I love chickadees too. Such a nice video to watch this morning. Continuing to send positive energy to you, your husband and son for healing. Have a wonderful weekend. 🙂

Awesome tip you share about using a watercolor pencil to map out your canvas!! Thank you very much! 👩🎨

It's one of the best things I've figured out! Graphite can mudy your colors and also migrate through your paint, especially oil paint, and show up as ghost lines in your picture. Technically, you need spray it with fixative. And I'm not a huge fan of charcoal. And then one day I was Like, why don't I use a watercolor pencil?? I'm glad it was helpful!

@winterwoodsstudio. I’ve just prepped an 18x24 canvas with watercolor ground. I’ve never painted a watercolor on canvas before so this one I’m nervous for 😅. I’m going to try your tip to lay out my perspective. Thanks again and feel better soon.

Suggestion: Posca pens are great for rock painting. You and the boys could make some rock art for the garden and show us that for your promotional video.
