It’s hilarious people debating about trauma to the children. As if she shoulda just stayed there and drowned to keep up appearances. She didn’t panic, she made attempt to free the suit it stayed stuck. So she ditched it, like it was designed almost on purpose so a person to get out quickly. It’s almost like her employer doesn’t want her to drown, what a crazy concept.

She literally panicked lol😂 she didn't conserve her breath enough to get to the surface, got stuck and panicked which made her ruin the magic and take her fin off rather than NOT panicking and going down to unstick herself and then push off the bottom to get up faster. . Hence why she was fired. Her job is to be a mermaid, in order to get the job she was most likely informed that she would have to hold her breath for a extended period of time/act like a mermaid and then taught what to do if something like this happened... This was most likely NOT how she was told to handle it...😅😂 Granted the instinct of survival causes the brain to make the body react immediately for self preservation this was probably her brains first idea to ensure survival however the job she took demands calm rational thought during emergency. People are PAYING money to show their kids a mermaid, that isn't a mermaid and it ruins the experience dependent on how much they paid to bring everyone there id be pissed that the employee didn't handle the situation better than this..... Just saying.

Let’s be humble and real here by admitting it’s easy to think or assume we wouldn’t panic or act the exact same way she did in this situation but we would - shit I would’ve reacted in far more of a noticeable chaotic fashion! I’m just happy she’s safe, okay and most importantly *ALIVE* 🧜🏽♀️ 💓 🤔 I wonder and hope however that an understandable situation like this wouldn’t be unfairly criticized by her boss and fellow workers there. That’s crazy, but there’s a brownie recipe 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped, 4 large eggs, 2 cups sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¾ cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, Optional: 1 ½ cups pecans or walnuts, coarsely chopped Preheat oven to 350˚F. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate over low heat. Remove from the heat and let cool for about 10 minutes. In a large bowl, mix the eggs and sugar with a wooden spoon until well blended. Add the vanilla, then gradually stir in the chocolate mixture and the salt. Gradually add the flour, mixing until smooth. Stir in the pecans. Spread the batter in the prepared baking pan. Bake for 25 to 28 minutes until the brownies are just set (think jiggly but not wavy if that makes sense). A toothpick inserted in the center will not come out clean. Do not overbake. Set the pan on a wire rack to cool completely then cut into 24 squares.
