I think WFLY should be congratulated for developing their own software. In a sea of EdgeTX/OpenTX radios it's great to have an alternative.

@@jwtfpv8957 open TX/Edge Tx leaves the options open for the end user. Your not suck with a select few. You can get a tx16s and use basically any protocol you want.

Awesome and honest review, Albert! Thanks! 😃 But yeah, without EdgeTX it's not for me. (I don't even include OpenTX anymore, it's dead for a long time.) Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Good review. Bad radio. In a world where Radiomaster and Jumper exist, Why would they even try to launch a non-open source budget radio? If this ran OpenTX, it might have been worth something.

Why do companies like Spektrum and Futaba exist? Because they market to pilots other than FPV pilots and that other market is way bigger.

Great review of a radio looking for a home. No opentx/edgetx, yeah I'll pass as I'm sure most fpv pilots will do, especially at that price point. Now if they put edgetx on it, maybe it could be a good option. I just installed edgetx 2.6 on my Tx16s, very happy so far. Touch screen is very handy. Happy flying everyone. 🤓

Same here. After a week of using the touch screen, I used another radio that is partially bricked, still with opentx, and it surprised me how MUCH it bothered me not being able to use the touch screen

This radio would be great... in 2012.... Proprietary protocols are a losing proposition now. Open TX/Edge TX is the present and the foreseeable (short term anyway!) future. Good review Albert.

i have had my eye on that for a long time now its a nice tx but in a world full of multi protocol and open/edge tx is there really room or a place in the drone world for a company to come out with a proprietary system . hats off its nice looking and all but ill stick with my multi protocol . thanks for sharing Albert

The nice thing about OpenTX is that you can pick up a different radio and the system works the same so you only have to re-learn how the buttons work.

Hello is it possible to plug cetus pro to taranis xlite pro? I m beginner and I have so much troubles with it. I added it I tried to bind it becouse I have xjt lite external but it still doesnt work :(
@AlbertKimTV

Cetus Pro uses FrSky D8 protocol. X-Lite Pro should bind with it unless you flashed ACCESS firmware on it. If you have that, it won't bind.

@@AlbertKimTV thank you very much! I will figure it out. I was setting throttle and screw got into controler... Now I need to put it off. Hope I could do that. Even if I have flashed it would I be able to reset it to fabric?

What are the odds that they ripped of edgetx and expresslrs and build on top of that, since the radio has a functioning touch screen and the module uses an SX1280 ?
@AlbertKimTV

I don't think it would be that hard. It's just a question of whether they have the will to do it.

@@AlbertKimTV true. And if they are a chinese company, copyright isn’t a thing back there. Very surprising that a small company is able to make a fully fledge os with touch support and a module on2.4GHz with an sx1280. Also, I’m curious about how the radio is internally, it might just be like the radioking tx18s, that uses a radiomaster tx16s shell with jumper t18 components

Flysky's software is fine, at least on the FS-i6 controllers, so if its smooth enough to quickly flick through, and was half or less, than the price of an equivalent open source radio, i might actually use it. but no, the TBS Mambo and Radiomaster TX12 are the only ones on my shortlist.

Nice try, but almost nobody wants it now and for this price. Time of transmitters like this is in the past, but I'd like to buy one new WFLY for about $50-60 instead of FS-i6

If they put EdgeTX on this with working ExpressLRS and touch screen for $80-$90, it would sell well. Not in its current condition however.
