Anybody who claimed he just threw 5 yarders is too stupid to ever have their mind changed. Not only was he not a game manager/check down type QB last season, he was literally the furthest thing from that. He lead the entire NFL in pass completions that travelled 20+ yards, 30+ yards and 40+ yards in the air. He trailed only C.J. Stroud and Tua on 50+ yards in the air completions. He was first in basically every air yard statistical category. It's one thing to be wrong, it's another thing to be as wrong as one could possibly be. Those are the worst kind of haters.

The TD's will likely come. Brock had 18 of his 31 TD's last season in just 5 games. 13 in the other 11 games. This whole Brock did this or is doing that is ridiculous. No other QB in his first 25 starts played with one of the best left tackles in the game in Trent Williams. They didn't have the best RB in the game in CMC. They didn't have one of the best tight ends today with Kittle. They also didn't have a weapon like Deebo. Or a top 5 defense. Throughout the years, there have been many QB's who played well, but since they were winning, no one really talked about them. I'm not here to say Purdy isn't good, because he is, but when they lose, it's this or that. It's everything except Purdy. There is playing good and there's playing good enough to win. You can't give someone all the accolades in wins and exempt him in any blame in losses. Without all those pieces I've mentioned above, this team and Purdy were 1-2 and he played a terrible game in Minnesota. They win, but discount the fact that Deebo and Kittle returned to action.

Brock's throw to the end zone to coverage was very bad....and Brock got too arrogant. that was a bad throw that could have been prevented. He has got to throw a clean ball when there is 1 defender and not 2 or 3 defenders. Bad throw! Brock Purdy deep throw to Jennings for 46 yards was excellently executed!!! Jennings, Mr. Clutch, is going to be the receiver for Brock this year!!!! Dominick Puni is getting better every game.....he passed blocked so well in this game as a rookie.....and no one is mentioning it...especially Chris Simms. Excellent run blocking for Jordan Mason was excellent. When Brock threw to Aiyuk the defender was holding him around the waist and there was no flag thrown. Another mistake from the refs that means that the refs were on the side of the Pats. Very bad!!! Jordan Mason is a beast!!! His catching and running ability is a shocker for the NFL. He ran 123 yards in this game and I can see all the hard work he did off season is paying off on the field in these games for the last 4 weeks. Great job!!! Purdy's deep throw to Deebo was excellent as Deebo broke away from his defender which he had practice and trained all off season. He's back....I love it!!! Purdy and Deebo practiced that play and many others off season and it is showing on the field!!! Great job. Special teams need to stiffen up....who is the Special teams coach. Whoever he is ...his special teams are atrocious and have played sloppy football for 4 weeks. Punt returners need to have better hands on catching and hanging on to the ball!!! Undisciplined!!! Purdy first touchdown pass to George Kittle was Elite!!! Should have been a pass interference call from the refs but they didn't throw the flag because they assumed that George wasn't going to catch the ball, but he did. No.1 the ref throws the flag in Jordan Mason face, which should be illegal. Plus, there was no hold or violation on his first catch and running play to the end zone. I wattched and there was no foul on that play. So, the refs cheated the 49ers out of a touchdown. That is 2 times so far that the refs who really disguss me, didn't throw a flag for pass interference with Jennings and then threw a flag on Mason's touchdown in his face!!! That really bothers me and tells me the refs were bias and trying to make the 49ers loose this game.

Brad, all I will say is the 49ers hit gold/jackpot/bingo on Brock Purdy. His demeanor on and off the field is top-notch but unfortunately, haters like Nick Wright of Fox Sports and Colin Cowherd will move the goalpost for whatever great things Brock did. Also kicking the 50+ field goal to tie the Super Bowl and go to OT. Just so Brock could get another chance and fail!!!! Then the kicker puts 3 more on the board again. Then y’all go and blame the kicker 😂. Instead of Brock being bad on 3rd down forcing punts the entire Super Bowl forcing our defense to try and hold the chiefs from scoring……. Cmon man. First everybody wanted to see him win a game coming from behind, didn’t they wanted to see him win games without having his whole team not only did he do that but he did it with all his star players out. Now he’s got to become a dual threat quarterback. Unfortunately, I don’t think this is ever gonna stop. Even after he wins the Super Bowl, I guarantee there will still be naysayers and critics that won’t give him his credit. SMH the best quarterback ever aren’t the dual threat quarterbacks, it’s the smart quarterbacks. Your Michael Vicks, your Russell Wilson’s Jalen hurts Lamar Jackson, RG3 etc…. those guys aren’t the best. It’s the quarterbacks with brains, the Tom Brady’s the Peyton Manning, the Joe Montana’s, even Dan Marino. I can go on and on but you get the point. The big fast duel threat QBs don’t last. I got Purdy right behind Mahomes for best quarterback in the league right now, and if you look at the stats and the stats alone, then it should be Purdy.
