Are you using more malt than what you'd use in a sparging brew?

How do you keep from scorching the bag when you bring the mash back to temp?

Ideally you want to get the strike temperature to a point where, once you cover the brew kettle in a blanket or something, its insulated enough that you don't need too. I realise this comment is 4 years old, hopefully you are still brewing!
