It's funny how often I find myself agreeing with Grace's points while disagreeing with her actual conclusion on those points lol! The film *is* a little hard to follow, and it does use a backdoor approach to addressing the automobile industry, but in the end, it still is very much a story about a criminal trying to start fresh. The automobile stuff just happens to be the backdrop to that story. For anyone excited to see Don Cheadle do his thing in a mob movie, this film won't disappoint. It's a slow burn but such an intriguing series of twists and turns. Just make sure to keep track of people's names otherwise, you're going to get lost pretty quickly. Great review as always Grace, even if we don't agree this time lol

This is a very fair review and I agree with you on almost everything, but I don't agree that this was an expose of the car industry. I believe that they only went to that level of industrialist intrigue in order to put the two low-level mobsters Don cheadle and benicio del Toro comically out of their element

Its OK to like a movie or movies that our Reviewer's do not like! Lmao 💯🤷🏽♂️😂😂😂 Still LOVE YOU and you are still a beautiful and talented woman!! ALSO Black Widow , the film😂 , attempts to make the women in the film seem superior to their male counterparts. They make Red Guardian look like a buffoon and used Taskmaster sparingly. Just saying there is a believable and far better way to make a movie with STRONG FEMALE LEADS AND CHARACTERS!!!

Oh no!!!! I didn't see those reviews of hers. Tomorrow War....I have lots of paradoxical questions. First one is when they go to the Future do they go to the same day and date every time? Let's just say they went on January 1st 30 years from now. Do they send other people on January 2nd or January 10th? Does every single person go to January 1st? Waves and waves of people showing up at the same day and date? Do they spread them out throughout the week or throughout the months in that year? If so then how does the strategy for this war go? That's just one question of many...many questions that I'm afraid cannot be answered.
@wordsinahandle
3 жыл бұрын
@@GTheoryTV in the movie they say that both timelines (present and future) keep flowing and lets say the war lasted 30 days. Day 1 here would be their day 10 and day 2 their day 11 and so on. I dont think it matter if chris pratt goes in december and arrives in July. Thats why there is a time limit withing which they need to win. If the time tunnel or whatever is destroyed access to travel goes.

I agree with grace. That third act expose was interesting but when that scene started I too thought the same. Just like Grace I had no idea what that whole dialogue was about. It just went off rail. Also it was interesting that two other characters had no reaction. Plus Don Cheadle and other guys response was just weird. But I think the movie from the point where the accountant and the secretary finally reveal what their plan was it becomes interested. I mean I really feel bad to give this movie this mediocre review but this ought to have been been far better than it was.
@brajeshsingh2391

not agree with actors though. I think David Harbor and the lady who runs away from the money are good. They played their characters earnestly. Rest were really ordinary. For the few minutes he was on screen Fraser I thought was good as well. And so was the actress who plays the role of secretary. I thought that the lady who appears as Cheadle goes to say goodbye to her also did well but I could not understand the reason for that scene. But the rest struggled. It also didn't help that they had very ordinary dialogues. A neo-noir requires sharp and interesting exchanges between the various actors.
