I think I get the end thing. It’s not custom made, but made long ago and threw out because it’s a generalized thing for every situation. It’s for EVERYTHING. The people in charge were affected, and a last ditch effort (the end message) was thrown out there because it’s all they had on hand. Not sure about this but it makes sense to me

My humble hunch on this one? Not exposure to ionizing radiation from outside, but an error in exposure to such radiation from within, from unexpected radio-isotopes. Consider deuterium (an isotope of hydrogen) and deuterium water. In instances of short-term exposure, deuterium water is harmless. But it CAN build up, and the very slight increase in mass between deuterium water and regular H2O does become toxic, a build-up in deuterium water in cells can STOP cell growth entirely by impeding microscale chemistry. Once cell growth stops, tissues don't grow and don't heal, and they stop maintaining themselves. No self-maintenance means aging. All it would take is an anomalous increase in hydrogen density, in water. Suddenly deuterium water, then actually radioactive Tritium water, begin replacing non-toxic waters in lakes, rivers and groundwater supplies. People in affected areas wouldn't even find anything unusual at first because deuterium toxicity takes so long to build up. But once things happen, they happen fast: first accelerated aging, then cancers from internal radio-isotope exposure. Edit: My info is slightly outdated. Here's the current link to more accurate info on a superficial level: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heavy_water The short of it is, heavy water poisoning is a thing, it actually kills you (in this universe anyway) faster than you would think. And it would take either a long time (for accidental exposure) or deliberate human action to get enough D2O or HDO in your body to actually make you sick. I'm off by a fraction it seems, but that's what fiction's for? Yeah.

What’s the point of the evacuation orders in the final EAS? Most of the message either imply whatever government this is has exhausted it’s resources, which seems really sudden , or that everyone should isolate, remain silent, and avoid others. Besides leaving the evacuation situation as a question of why, it leads to a few major theories about the situation in general. 1. Whatever government this is completely abandoned it’s covid-era means of increasing healthcare services. The theory itself is possible, but it doesn’t explain the silence of the final alert, and the absolute isolation instructions. It also makes the evacuation orders seem even stranger, since there’s probably no resources to evacuate *with*. 2. This government did not properly inform people of the nature of the emergency, either by lying to avoid panic, or because of an actual lack of knowledge of some far more dangerous element. This is also a plausible theory in my opinion, because it would explain the extremely rapid resource depletion, as well as the isolation and silence warnings. This theory *may* explain the evacuation order through the government having resources it hasn’t actually tapped into. This would also still allow for the government to claim resources were depleted. 3. Mass chemical exposure or fast moving infectious agent. Explains the rapid resource depletion, but the procedure here would probably be quarantine over evacuation. 4. A secondary threat emerged. The rapid aging weakened humanity, and a second anomaly reared its ugly head. It explains the rapid resource depletion, need for silence and isolation, and perhaps the evacuation orders, but not really simultaneously. 5. The evacuation orders aren’t real, they’re just to give some tiny sense of hope that the government is doing *something.* Unlikely, given the “there is no hope message”, but that could mean the evac orders is a “we’re still here, for whatever it’s worth” 6. This is a broadcast hijacking with terrorist motive. The situation is still actually rather isolated, but someone put out a fake scary message. This could be because they’re responsible and want to up the heat, or just simply a kid pulling a prank. Alternatively, it’s an actual terror network trying to cause chaos.

The whole 'Don't touch your face' thing is silly, even through the pandemic, for two reasons: {1} If you washed your hands, your hands are clean now, so they are safe. {2} Absolutely nobody in the world doesn't touch their face, even if you told them to. You don't ever not do this thing, and that isn't the cause of the problem in the first place. Emphasizing the washing of hands was the only part that mattered, and the only part that was ever going to happen.
@deaththekid3998
Жыл бұрын
Washing your hands is useless if you, for example, constantly scratchy your nose. Eyes and mouth can be contaminated by very small numbers of bacteria, so even after washing your hands. I would know: I recently got a mild conjunctivitis in my left eye, after I treated a patient with an infected wound. I washed my hands but I was distracted and didn’t put too much attention, and after I touched my eyes. I often touch my eyes, it’s a nervous thing, but I try to control myself when I know I could have contaminated hands.

I don't really understand this We are told of a crisis but we don't know exactly how it's taking effect on people and always say the same "stay vigilant and wash your hands" It's such a weird switch from a radio talk finally discussing maybe some factors of what's causing it but not what it does or how quick it folds to "there is no hope the government is gone" i think the idea is good but there's not really enough showing the down fall

This was a breath of fresh air. This is an actual out of the ordinary scenario. I was becoming irritated with some of the EAS scenarios. There was nothing really out of the ordinary in them. Full of gaping holes regarding information. And very sloppily fine. As if they were just thrown together. I understand that it’s very difficult to come up with fresh original material. And EAS scenarios require a lot of work. But some of the niches were becoming over saturated and some of them looked like they were created by some teenager who thought ITLL BE COOL TO DO A SCENARIO. But didn’t see the need to produce a quality product. I’ve seen these kids like this with their head up their ass do numerous reviews on movies on Wikipedia that I had to extensively correct. Some I ever had to completely redo…they were so full of errors. They probably were drunk or high or just not paying attention to the material they were reviewing. And aren’t responsible enough to understand that people rely heavily on these reviews for accurate information. They half listened and guessed at the rest. This one was well done. I wish it could have been longer 😢

Okay, I don't know either but here's my guess... *The virus is more then just rapid aging.* Infected humans start to seek others out to infect with RA virus. (rapid aging is RA btw just short.) These infected humans are smarter, perhaps because they were in the hospital they easily depleted resources and grew more stronger from the rise of infected.... And thus... The crisis became too much. Which is why you must hide I think and be quiet. My guess, probably not true lmao
