Join us on an educational journey at Pahalmansingh Memorial Technical Secondary School in Ghodaghodi-11, Ambasa, where tradition meets modern agricultural education. As the agriculture instructor, I led our Class 12 plant science students in a hands-on lesson about traditional plowing techniques.
Our school field, surrounded by other farmers' lands, presents a unique challenge: there's no road access for tractors or power tillers. Undeterred, we embraced this as an opportunity to learn and practice traditional farming methods. With the help of our office assistant, Janjiru Chaudhary, we used his bull and plow to prepare our field.
Watch as our dedicated students Nabin, Kiran, and Lokendra, along with myself, tackle the age-old task of plowing. The video captures our initial struggles and gradual mastery of this essential farming skill. You'll see firsthand how we adapt to the rhythms of the bull and the demands of the plow, gaining confidence with each furrow.
This hands-on experience serves multiple purposes:
1. Preserving traditional agricultural knowledge
2. Preparing the field for marigold planting
3. Creating space for winter crop seeds
Our video showcases the importance of versatility in agricultural education, demonstrating how future farmers can blend traditional methods with modern knowledge to overcome challenges.
While plowing no animal were harmed.
Join us in celebrating the persistence and adaptability of the next generation of agriculturists. Like, comment, and subscribe for more insights into agricultural education and sustainable farming practices!
