I've not purchased on Whatnot before, thus I don't have personal experience. I've read general Whatnot comments on other KZitemr's channels about not getting product that is worthwhile from various sellers, as in sellers are clearing out junk. :( I've noticed other KZitem channels like the platform, however, I think this is because it creates interest in their channel. You and a small handful of channels on reselling are, from what I can tell, real resellers. The others are entertainment that are, IMO again, fooling the average person that they can make their fortune of easy money via reselling. Reselling is hard work and it, like other jobs, is something you have to love to do. Thanks for your channel. :) I have emulated many of your organizational techniques, it has helped me considerably with storage.

Rolling Cart: Now that I see it, I don't think I'd want to push that style cart around in your basement either. The companies that make the Metro style Shelves make good shelving products, but I find their carts to be lacking. The castors are too small, the carts are not rigid, so they flex and products (especially hardgoods) seem to vibrate off. They are better used in a stationary position like a kitchen island or shorter shelf. Personally, I use old high school A/V carts, from back when classrooms used overhead projectors and showed movies. Those carts were well built and solid, so the tube style TVs and video players rode around the halls and classrooms on them safely. Much larger castors, too.

For many years I worked with a local Brick and Mortar auction house, until I retired. We were the largest in the county, so we had the contract to dispose of items for the school district. Once or twice a year, we'd go to where the school district collected surplus items and hold a public auction. Carts, tables, the old wooden school chairs, shop class tools, etc would all be sold to the public. I would often buy carts and storage cabinets, while there.

Blue plates: was it spelled Neko (pronounced knee-ko)? If so, that’s Japanese for Cat. A friend of ours, from our time in living in Japan, tells a story of how his wife saw a malnourished cat on their patio and tried to give it milk, calling: here kitty, here kitty, to no avail. When the husband arrived home, she related the story to him, which made him laugh. He responded suggesting if the cat comes back to try: Neko, Neko, since the cat was Japanese.

You had mentioned about the inconsistency in pricing the polos also in a previous video and I’m perplexed. I live in Los Angeles and all s/s shirts are one price, l/s are one price, pants one price, dresses one price and so on. Nothing is individually priced so I can see inconsistencies in pricing can happen when Goodwill prices each item. Frustrating.

@Eva Blada I believe that the "Polo" shirts you're referencing were actually Ralph Lauren long-sleeved shirts that Karen was interested in but GW had overpriced them bc they were a well-known and desirable name brand. Blue Candy Dish: you mention the overpriced $10 dish may have been on the shelf over a month. Our goodwills run a rotating color tag system, with a color being on sale each Monday for a deep discount (some stores as little as $1.79). If you find an item that has been through the full rotation, and survived it’s Monday color, they still honor that deeply discounted price any day after. Our tags have a date, as well as a color. Not too many Good items survive the Monday sale, but on occasion we find a good value that way. Folks look at the price and color, but do not notice the old date. I think the shelves are not cleared as often because our county does not have a Goodwill Bin Store.
