Guys, I have been in Tallinn, Estonia for last 1.5 years. If you are a bachelor and working in IT, then I would say you accept the offer only if your monthly gross pay is minimum 3000 Euros. But if you are a married person with kids and if your spouse is not going to work then I would say you need to demand for 5000 Euros per month. Quality of Education is good but the medium of language is Estonian. Hardly this is spoken by less than a million in Estonia itself. Trust me you will end up sending your kids here to private schools and they charge 500 -2000 Euros per month per kid. They say doctor tagging for each person but the reality is there are hardly any doctors and majority of them do not speak English. For last 1-2 years most of the Expats could not get the doctor tagging that easily. I really do not see govt putting efforts to improve this. If you visit the private hospital then the final bill will be 10x more of the India super specialty hospital. You should pray that you should be healthy when you are here. Very tough to get an apartment and also 2bhk(ideally here it is 3 rooms) minimum cost is around 1100. If you are a family of 3 (minimum) you definetly have to go for 2bhk as no one will give you 1BHK. Inflation is at 26 percentage as pee tge last update and it will easily cross 30 before this winter. Honestly it is a good place to stay and work. Even I see teenagers walk on the streets at around 1 AM. I am not sure if there is any such county with this level of security. People here will not interfere unnecessarily and also it is not that easy to make friends. But once they tryst you they will have the long term bonding till their life. You need a D Visa or a TRP to work in Estonia and it is not that easy for Non IT professionals. Even for IT only few companies does sponsorship. Hope this information helps you to take correct decisions.

"No work permit needed" is very misleading. You need a temporary resident permit (TRP) to work here. A company needs to sponsor the employee for them to be able to apply for a TRP. Not a lot of companies sponsor people. Most jobs are only in the IT field. And companies like Wise and Bolt are a few that sponsor say customer service jobs. Inflation is higher than 25% here and increasing. Average salaries are about 1500 EUR. That's like 1200 EUR after taxes. Rents have increased by 200/300 EUR plus energy bills can be quite high, especially in the current situation. Only specialized IT jobs may pay higher. Renting can be quite difficult as Estonians prefer renting to Estonian speakers usually. Asians and Africans are not a first choice as tenants. Winters are real cold. People are cold. Food scene is very bland. Very low diversity in terms of people and products. Limited range of products in supermarkets. Groceries are quite expensive compared to the UK or Austria or Germany. Estonian is a difficult language. No night life and has a small town feel. Pros are low bureaucracy (a lot of public services are online), low crime, clean cities, free public transport and easy to get around as it's a tiny country, lots of nature.

I have lived in Estonia all my life ( 50 y) and I always dream of India. I am completely fed up with western culture.... ignorance, greed, ....only money money money... So boring. So? Germany & France have gas issues and record high inflation due to the war. UK is seeing impacts of political instability. Australia & NZ went from 3 years of shut down to being open. Oh god. Take the comments in a positive sense. Did you see the highlight of a border that I wrote in my first line. The countries that you mentioned are not border countries and those gas and all stuff are mere deals. It is like you saying vacancies in China please go. You know how Estonia and the Soviet are. It was a positive comment. Geographies boundaries do matter. You wont put up a job board on LAC and LOC if i am correct. And I am not challenging you. I said i respect your earlier videos but not this one. Maybe the constitution gave us some freedom of speech if i am not wrong

@@NidhiNagori29 Nordic countries want language skills Language is a major thing in Estonia Also, check that language out. It's related to Finish, but those are maybe about as similar to one another as English is to Swedish. Both are rather unique in the world as national languages. Very distantly related with Hungarian. Locals may easily be sensitive about their languages and cultures -- which has to do with long history under colonial powers (latest of which being Tsardom and USSR) On another side, if learning it, due to its small population and even smaller diaspora -- it's like learning some kind of secret language, rather rich in vowels... Besides Estonian language, many (70~80%) locals know English as a foreign language in various levels, out of them maybe some ½~⅓ in relatedly high level. It's possible to survive in there without Estonian, but the experience and opportunities will be much more limited. Local language matters most if there's plan to settle (long-term residency or citizenship)
@KohaAlbert

@@NidhiNagori29 Estonia actually limits incoming migration by annual quota -- if I remember correctly, annual numbers are just about a thousand or two. This quota is tied to general population number. Rationale behind it is ability to integrate, economic and social stress/shock, etc. This is currently affected by war in Ukraine and taking in huge numbers of refugees (relatedly speaking) -- this probably also impact the following years. On another hand, there's never enough specialists and talents... There's also something else, language teachers. Locally known languages besides native are mostly English and Russian, which means stress for a native language due to heavy bias towards those languages. On the other hand, Estonian is rather novelty language to learn, and basically always being teached via English or Russian. There's huge lack of teachers who would teach Estonian directly in one own native language (there's many complaints on how hard this language is to learn, learning it via median language makes it even more challenging). Within Estonia, knowledge about cultures beyond western world is fairly limited ... and it seems so vise versa as well -- I just mentioned, as even this may give an idea for someone about a future career possibilities ... how ever trivial these may seem at first sight
